We first came to your home last March and found a very dirty blower wheel and evaporator coil due to lack of filter maintenance and having several dogs, some that like to lay right under the units return air opening on the floor. Only the blower pull & clean fit into your budget, so that's all you had us do. Last week (14 months later) we came out to a No Cool call, your unit was blowing cool air but you had mentioned that the unit hadn't worked well since the last time we were there. You had only done half of our recommendation last year, so that was understandable. You agreed to have the coil pulled and cleaned last week (after showing you photo of your dirty coil), which we did, on the spot- taking a few hours. You called back yesterday because you said it wasn't cooling again. We arrived within a few hours to find that a part had failed in the outside unit, something completely unrelated to any of the work we had done in the past. We waived the diagnostic fee (-$102), gave you a warranty repair discount when you didn't even have a warranty(-$81), and discounted another part for the repair(-$40). We did all we could for you, including a $223 discount on May 8th. We understand you're having financial difficulties, we can't repair units without payment, but we did offer to wait 30 to 60 days for payment as a courtesy. We pulled and cleaned the evaporator coil last week, which you admitted was dirty (we have photos), we couldn't give you a refund for that, which you didn't ask for at the time. You continually blamed the dirty coils etc. on an unrelated part that failed a week later on the outdoor unit, no where near where we had been working previously. We explained it many times, and wish you could understand that what you're saying is literally impossible. Thanks for the review.
