I ordered jewelry from this company, but what I received was fake. When I first asked for a refund, they refused and told me it wasn’t possible. Only after I mentioned that I would make a claim through my bank did they agree to refund me, and then they told me to keep the jewelry just so I wouldn’t leave a bad review. Please be cautious — this company is dishonest and sells fake products.

DO NOT ORDER, IT'S A SCAM. Company based abroad using fake ID. Order arrived, packaging ripped open, I presume by customs, which left one back of an earring missing, but hardly matters as it is cheap, shoddy rubbish! Went straight into the bin!!

Complete scam. I ordered a glass mosaic light up turtle and got a shoddy plastic light up turtle.

closing down is not true, ordered earings for my wifes birthday which has now passed,this was 2 weeks ago and still dont have them,if i check tracking it shows they were on an international flight not from the store in Birmingham,today i have requested a refund but not had a reply,avoid this is a SCAM

Absolute scam!! Please do not buy from this site or fall for the sob story. It has been a month and I am still waiting for my order. I have emailed them asking for a reply multiple times but been ignored. Also, the products are not coming from Birmingham UK, they are from abroad somewhere so it is false advertising. I dread to think what the quality of the products is going to be like. Please do not buy from this site.

Avoid this on fb and insta, thry using death to draw you in, first the husband, then the son. Eileen sending emails of total bull 💩!! Home made blah blah blah, tracking showing China and America. Absolute tay. Reported to Action Fraud , fb, instead and trading standards. Disgusting...

On FB - Shop shutting, husband had died, only realised it was a scam when I saw another advertisement saying the wife had died !!
I am usually pretty savvy but somehow I fell for this buying a lamp for £30 over 2 weeks ago, no parcel has arrived

Definitely a scam I also fell for the story of Eileen losing her husband and had to close down , I haven’t recieved my items yet wanted them for a wedding Saturday and no doubt they will be complete tat when they do arrive , I’m usually quite good at spotting scams and usually come on Trustpilot first this time I didn’t , lesson learned !! 🤬

I should have realised it was a scam, i fell for the sympathy story on Instagram, stupidly purchased an item that surprisingly hasn't arrived yet, and it was only now, when I've gone to track my order, realised that none of the emails from 'c'est la vie' (oh the irony of the company name) have mentioned an order number or tracking number? PLEASE AVOID can't believe I fell into the trap AND REPORT THEM

I have a friend who is as jeweller and asked him to assess.
I could see no hallmarks whatsover!
Mine appeared as a “sob story” Facebook, thought wiser to go onto their website.

Dreadful! In line with the reviews here, I believe this company to be a scam. The earrings and necklace are really cheaply manufactured and arrive in that horrible plastic wrap. The necklace is certainly not 14K gold as advertised and the earring chains are such poor quality (twisted) that I can’t get them through my piercing. I am in process of trying to get a refund - wish me luck! Do not fall for the very misleading advertising.

Saw ad on Instagram explaining the lady had lost her husband and so she was having to close. On the website it states the lady and her husband have been forced to close the shop. I thought the 2 stories didn't match so checked here for reviews and it seems it is all a scam!

Clearly a scam. I almost ordered when I saw the ad on instagram but things seemed odd because everything looked so-generated. When I checked in an hour back everything was all of a sudden ‘sold out’ when it had a big stock before.

I ordered some animal lamps and a 'gold' necklace, which all arrived today, but as others have already said, this is a scam. The lamps are not as indicated in the ads (much smaller, plastic and cheap-looking), and I'm guessing the necklace is fake too. They have cleverly constructed a website and marketing strategy that looks good on the surface, but they are lying about reductions in price, as well as the quality. They pretend to be 'Eileen' and write in perfect, polite English, but it is all lies, don't be taken in as I was! I am usually very savvy about scams, but this one was cleverly done.

Guys, I knew this was a scam the second I saw the green bracelet set they put on their website. I've seen the EXACT same set on Shein before. So I go onto Shein and search 'Green bracelet set'. What do I see? The exact same picture hahahahaha. On shein they're selling it for 1.69 and it's exactly the same quality as the one that's on this website. Anyways, off to Shein I go! 🤌

If I could give company this a zero rating I would. Unfortunately, I was taken in by the sob story that the owner was struggling to keep the company running following the death of her husband, and was therefore having a closing down sale!
The website states an address in Birmingham with a 3- 9 day delivery...in fact it's an online store based in China. My order took about 3 weeks to be delivered. I was offered a £20 discount code by way of an apology...when I tried to use it it didn't work...I raise this with Eileen, the "owner"..think Eileen may be AI bot!... but got a standard email response about how busy they were.
I tried to return my order... it was definitely not worth the "pre-sale" price, but was expecting to pay for a return to China...which is significantly more expensive than a UK return. In the end I decided to accept a 10% refund and kept the earings.
Do NOT order from this company... definitely a scam.

Confirming this is a scam. I ordered two lamps that appear to be glass mosaic or at least transparent plastic animals, with touches that suggest use of metal. What I received two weeks later from 'Europe' were two foul smelling lumps of hard, cheap plastic, the lamps were not mosaic at all and we're quite small. Closer inspection of the website makes me pretty sure the pictures of the couple and products on the website are AI generated. Also they run a sob story about closing down in a couple weeks, but the timer is present when visiting weeks later.

I've just seen the advert on Facebook for this so called shutting down sale and was very tempted to buy something for my daughter's birthday. However having been bitten before by these scams I always check now on Trustpilot. So thanks everyone for the warnings.
