Chanabana Avis 

I used my new teal ocean chana skirt this morning for my 20k run and had to check every once in a while that I'm not running in my underwear!! It was so light and cool for this hot weather ! Finally running in modest clothing doesn't have to be a burden!

I recently purchased the tennis skirt which can also double as a swim skirt. As a frum woman it always hard to find flattering swim skirts or even just nice ones. However this is not the case with Chanabana the material felt incredible and I absolutely loved the skirt, so comfy and I felt so confident in it and bonus it was modest 10/10 😍.

I asked Chanabana to make me a running skirt - no shorts attached, with a specific waistband and length… I wanted something super light that I could wear over my running shorts. My custom skirt was ready the same day, and the next day I wore it on a run and it was fabulous!

Chana is amazing, her leggings holster is comfortable, secure, and delivered so fast! It conceals amazingly well, and the weapon stays in place even when I'm active. Chana is fast to reply to questions and is a great communicator. Highly recommended!!

True the suit feels great at first ... But IMHO it's only for non water activities.
I bought mine a couple of months ago.
Loved the light feeling, but as soon as I got into water i felt it was too thin and sticky. When I got out of water was even worse.
After just a few months of using it to swim, it's totally stretched out and not appropriate anymore.

Might be great for running but i would definitely not recommend as swim suit.

Chana worked hard to make sure that I had a skirt that fit me well and was the right length. It is so comfortable and I am excited to wear it

I just wanted to share a vulnerable story.

My #1 type of exercise is walking and running outdoors. A few months ago I was walking and suddenly bitten by a dog, unprovoked. It broke skin pretty severely through 3 layers of clothing. (Thankfully I was not wearing one of my three precious Chanabanas at the time).

After recovering physically (including undergoing an extensive rabies shot protocol) I went out to go walking convinced that I was fine and surprisingly found I was paralyzed with fear. I was suffering PTSD and was not ready to go back to my regular routine.
I spent the next few months doing indoor exercising, frustrated with my mental health.

On Chanukah I bought this new Chanabana skirt as a recovery gift, hoping it would serve part in the healing the motivation I needed. You kindly gave me so much attention and patience waiting until I found the right color and fit. I only bought one skirt- at the time I was hoping you weren’t disappointed that the time you gave wasn’t a better return on your time and patience investment- but please know it was from my end. I thank you so much for your kindness that evening.

This week, Taanit Esther was my Hebrew birthday- a day of introspection and the beginning of a new year for me. It’s taken me that long to unwrap my new skirt. This morning I ripped off the tags and put it on determined to conquer my trauma. Together with my family I ventured out for a 4k in the beautiful spring air.

Unbeknownst to you, your skirt became a part of my healing journey. I just wanted to share that with you and thank you for always being so kind and patient. We never know a person’s story and what they are carrying and how something as seemingly insignificant as buying new workout clothes can be something so much deeper.
