Customer Service in Secondhand Section Lacking
Tried using the website to search for my books to send in, but only managed to find a handful so lugged all 30 to the store where I was met with a not-so-friendly clerk who asked me put the books out on the counter. She proceeded to scan some, not scan others, set aside others. Only 18 were accepted and the rest were given to me to take back (including a secondhand one I'd bought from them). Was offered a mere €15 cash for 18 books, the majority of them in mint condition. Some of the books I'd searched for myself on their website were offering €4 for a single book in excellent condition. No explanation as to how it all works. Unsure if store credit would have been any better. Disappointed and won't support this shop, even with the great idea of having a secondhand section. Took the balance to a coffee shop who were only too delighted to have my "leftover" books. Next time all my books will be sent there, or to a charity.
