Charleston Coast Vacations by dunes properties Avis 

The process was flawless and the condo was beautiful. We had a great experince with Dunes Properties. They are so nice and attentive to your questions.

Easy to work with while making the reservation. After returning home, found that we had left a rain jacket at the property and one phone call later, it was forwarded to us. Excellent!

As lovely as the home's decor was. The home seemed very dirty and unkept. In the bathroom's shower curtains were moldy, shower rods were rusted. One of the bathroom windows was broken. Several of the walls seemed soft or moldy and had been painted over. Every morning we had to sweep dead roaches out from under beds, and off other floor areas. The AC struggled to hold at 76 degrees and on several of the warmer days did not hold even late into the night. The bed sheets and quilts were very dirty looking and looked moldy and or very stained. everything was very dusty inside the home, and I found a pill on the floor from a previous guest also covered in dust. The curtains in the bedrooms and bathrooms would not close without the whole curtain rod being pulled off the wall. The curtains do not block any light whatsoever... so if you have children expect to wake up as soon as the sun rises. Skip Pride & Joy

The condo was a nice size for two people. The condo was clean and updated. The condo is near the pool and beach. We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Service started at Check in. The condo was very well renovated and felt like a luxury retreat right on the beach. Simple/basic amenities provided but that was clearly detailed upon reserving. Close to shopping and restaurants.

The house itself was beautiful, the pictures didn't do it justice. It was beautifully decorated and the open layout and glass covered porch were our family's favorite features. A few notes on the cleanliness/management of the property though: the hot tub was not properly cleaned. We saw that someone had dropped in cleaning "pills" into the hot tub to "clean" it. When we opened the cover we saw old leaves on the top of the water and dirt/sand at the bottom. Dropping in cleaning pills does not properly clean a hot tub and we were very disappointed as this was one of the reasons we decided to rent this house. We ended up not using it as it looked very gross. Additionally, the front door is very difficult to open and close as it sticks and needs to be repaired. Lastly, the house is just across the street from the beach. Very easy access but if it rains, the driveway floods very deep where it meets the street which then does not allow you to cross the street to get onto the beach. We had to walk through brush and over the neighbors lawns/houses in order to not walk through a lake of water to access the beach. If where the driveway meets the street could be paved over and leveled, this would not occur. Overall great house, biggest disappointment was the hot tub. We chose this house for the perk of the hot tub and were very disappointed that we could not enjoy it.

Dewees Island is beautiful and peaceful, love the place but the home we stayed at needs some serious maintenance. There were many issues such as the a/c going out Friday night and we had to deal with the heat and humidity for 2 days. We were offered to move to a new location but there were 8 women and lots of groceries to relocate. Icemaker did not work, ceiling fans did not work, lighting issues, serious problem with fire flaming up on grill, sewer gas odors, internet was not good........Disappointed in trip this time.

A perfect vacation! We had a perfect girls weekend at the condo. The condo was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The first night we thought the fridge wasn't cooling properly, but it was our mistake for not reading the welcome letter saying to let the fridge cool properly before stocking it with food and beverages. BUT we called late that evening after returning from the bars and make an emergency call worried that our food would spoil overnight - Liz returned our call so quickly and assured us it was not an issue with the fridge, so we moved our food to the coolers we had and the fridge was back on track the next morning. Liz even sent me text messages throughout the day checking on the fridge and to make sure we were happy with everything - true professionals! We love Folly Beach and will definitely be using Charleston Coast Vacations again!

The house is perfect location for the beach! Great for large families and kids, since the beach isn't too packed. The house is cute and has lots of space for a big group. Honestly the only problem we really had was with the cleanliness of the home. The house was pretty dirty overall everywhere. Don't expect to use any dishes provided without washing first. Our sheets also had blood and stains on them. They looked like they haven't even been washed from the previous peoples stay. So overall, It wasn't a bad stay. Great for families. They just need to work on the cleanliness of the home to make me want to return to stay again.

Everything went well. Communication through the hurricane period was good. Staff very friendly and helpful.
House was as pictured and we had no problems during our stay.

Everything was as planned. Have worked with Dunes on numerous vacations and have always been pleased.

Dealing with the company was great, no issue. We just were not told that the pool on Dewees ISland would be closed on Monday, the only full day we had there! Accomodations were great as well!

Everyone is always so helpful and friendly. Make booking accommodations so easy.

The rental was filthy. Many of the doors would not shut/latch properly. Overall was very disappointed with the condition and upkeep of the rental, would not go back, and would probably not use the company again, if this is the quality of their rental properties.
