Dealing with a Deceased Estate is obviously an emotive time for the family and friends, and we always endeavour to assist and support our clients in dealing with such matters as obtaining Probate, which can be a lengthy and complex process as was the case in this instance. Chattertons strive to provide all their clients with the highest quality legal service possible and as such it is always disappointing to receive such a review, especially as you have not expressed any sort of dissatisfaction at all during the progression of the matter.
Shilpa Miah excellent service
Shilpa Miah worked with us thru a long and difficult house sale. She stuck with it and eventually we got the desired results. We found that Chattertons’s aren’t always the cheapest but we have always been impressed with their service and professionalism.

Lack of communication
Lack of communication, I ended up dealing with 3 or 4 different people during my remortgage. I had to use Chattertons as they were on the panel from the lender however I never once had chance to speak with Neil who was supposed to be acting for me.

Providing an exceptional legal service is something that Chattertons strive to provide to all our clients and receiving such a review is disappointing. This was a remortgage matter which we completed approximately 3 weeks after receipt of the mortgage offer. Our file demonstrates that there was extensive communication between you and members of our Lincoln conveyancing team, all of whom work under the immediate supervision of Neil Jones. It is normal practice for Mr Jones to delegate work where appropriate, as was the case here.

Very good experience. Really great having one one person dealing with our conveyancing unlike others solicitors we have dealt with. All enquiries were dealt with efficiently.

Voluntary redundancy support
We are going through a voluntary redundancy programme at work. I contacted Chattertons to get support with the settlement agreement. From the outset they have been wonderful. First of all with Emily Hampson who got everything moving so quickly. Then with Rizwana Akhtar who went through the settlement agreement with a lot of detail. She explained things so I absolutely understood what I was signing up to.
There has been a very quick turnaround time and they have always got back to me promptly and efficiently.

Life made easier by the staff at Chattertons
Chattertons staff have been very efficient at keeping me informed about the work on my brothers estate. Whenever I have had to phone them they have rung me back very quickly. Because I am having inviting treatment on my eyes and my tablet doesn't print PDF files they will send me hard copy if necessary.
