Report the Google ad for the step ladder by Googling 'Report a fake Google ad'

Be aware, the Chestern.com is a fake trading platform. As the other complaining reviewers, I was fooled into thinking I found a cheap two step ladder, so I paid £12 for that bargain. A week later I tried to email the site owners regarding any updates about the delivery. No answer at all....On their site no contact nr was given, no address, only a not working email address. After a month of no signs of any delivery updates, I decided to do a research on Trustpilot to check the legitimacy of the site and the reviews from former customers...:
100% negative feedback from them, everyone complaining about cheap ladder scam.
Again, be aware, do not repeat our mistakes:
before to buy goods from unknown website, do your research , find out others review...

Agree with everyone on here, ordered step ladders and never arrived, no communication and looks like I’ve also been scammed!

Order never arrived but paid with a credit card and contacted them and money was refunded.
Suggest others who have not received goods should do the same.
Will never use this firm again.

This is a scam. If you have ordered from this company and you have paid by Credit Card, contact your Credit Card provider for a refund.

I ordered way back in March and no delivery, no refund, no contact.

If I could select 0 stars I would. Company is a scam. Email address doesn't work. Finally found one that did and after over 10 emails I finally got a response saying my item would come the following week, 3 weeks later than scheduled. 7 weeks later and the item is still not here and can't get a response from the company anymore. Finally got a lawyer involved who wrote them a letter, next day my order was updated to refunded. 2 weeks later still no refund, lawyer has followed up. Contact consumer rights if this has happened to you. This website and company must be shut down.

Disgusting, ordered step ladder, never delivered. Sent emails and they never answered. Should be prosecuted, it is theft. Not even worth 1 star.

Here to back up all the other reviews of people who tried to order a £17 step ladder but have had no response. I clicked through from a google advert and feel stupid for not being more aware how dodgy the site is.

Looking at the terms and conditions and the “governing law” section, it mentions they act in accordance with North American law (which isn’t a thing, it’s either Canadian or US, not one “North American” law), EU law, or Nigerian law. So there’s no mention of UK law and I doubt UK trading standards would be able to do anything. I’m guessing based on this that it’s an operation run out of Nigeria to scam people?

Have contacted my bank but am not hopeful of getting the money back. Pretty shocking that google are promoting this as that’s the only reason I ended up on their site in the first place.

Ordered a product and its been months. No communication from customer services either.

Ordered months ago still not haven't received I have emailed many times and they keep telling me that the item is on its way I have now had to raise a claim with the bank to get the money back due to it being fraudulent I'm expecting

Doesn’t even deserve the star !Worst company ever scammers ! Ordered electric callous remover in March still waiting £13 for nothing they don’t even reply to their emails ! Time this company was stopped from advertising!

BAD- do not use.
Scammed too over step ladders for £17.00. Only reviewed company when ladders didn't arrive. A lesson learned to check first!

Scammed no delivery and not able to contact. Also had a text purporting to be from Hermes asking me to chose another date as delivery missed. Then a further text asking for bank details to pay for missed delivery. Our normal hermes agent says that Hermes do not charge for a missed delivery. BEWARE

I have not received my order from beginning of April. No acknowledgement and no refund.

Not sure why everyone has been SCAMMED buying themselves step ladders, but I can add my name to the list as well. This company DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS, and when you try to find any other form of communication with them, they DO NOT HAVE A CONTACT NUMBER.

RUN. A. MILE. Do not buy anything from there as you will not receive your order. I just wish I had googled these reviews before been duped as well.

I wish I had read the loads of comments below about Chestern being scammers. As the rest, I too have been scammed out of £30 for a 3 step ladder. Emails don't work (they don't respond to us), tried all ways of finding a phone number - there isn't one listed anywhere... so many people have been caught - shame on you Chestern.....

These people are nothing but scammers purchased a step ladder months ago which have not turned up
