Total scam - see other reviews, the website has different items but most people got scammed with the step ladder at £17.

Can’t believe I’ve been duped. Like a couple of others I only spent £17 on a 3 step ladder.
When I go into the Chesten site it shows they sell a lot more stuff than ladders but everyone has been caught out with ladders?? Can’t make Head nor tale of that one.
Anyway buy from somewhere else.

Scammers, I've ordered my item since 25th March and nothing. No tracking and when I email they said their email support was down. Do not buy with them they're a scam! I now have to contact my bank to try and get my payments back what a joke.

I ordered step ladder 4 weeks ago but hasn’t arrived! I contacted the company twice and no one replied back! Don’t deal with them, it’s a scam!

Same as all the other reviews. Step ladder ordered 10 April then email advising me my order had been shipped. I've just sent an email asking for an update only for it to bounce back that the address doesn't exist so I've sent another one but won't hold my breath. I think I can wave goodbye to my £30. I too usually do a review but didn't bother as it wasn't a lot of money. Lesson learned.

Ordered 4 steps ladder 30 March. Not received , sent 2 emails no answer. No contact number. Its a scam.

I bought a stepladder from Chestern on 30th March 2021 advertised by Google. I was told that it had shipped on 9th April, and then everything went quiet. All emails bounced back. This is a scam. I lost £30, but what makes me upset is that this scam made me feel stupid and hope this review helps others. The advertisement should be taken down by Google who should not earn money from scammers and take more responsibility. The website, which is powered by Big Commerce needs to be taken down by Trading Standards and Big Commerce also should take some responsibility.

Trustpilot should allow 'zero stars' for scams like this! Like others, I bought at £17 stepladder from Chestern on 7th April, told it had shipped on 14th, and then... nothing. Email to 'support' bounced. Out and out scam. Caveat emptor and all that, and I do usually check for reviews for higher value items from a supplier I haven't used before, but for a £17 ladder I didn't bother. Caveat lector! Website needs to be taken down by Trading Standards. Good luck, Trustpilot, notifying Chestern about this review!

I've reported this to my credit card provider, who will know where the money was sent, and while I don't expect to get my money back, they should be able to block the account and stop further payments to Chestern/Brandon from other customers. Update: Well done, Nationwide, for acting on my chargeback claim and refunding my money.

I have been caught too, should have checked for real company details. Have reported to trading standards for investigation, but as there are no company details they may not be able to do anything. I have raised a case with my credit card provider and am also in the process of reporting to the e commerce company.

Do NOT use - nothing will arrive!

I have also bought a three step ladder on 6th April, told it was shipped on the 14th April - still no ladder and no responses to any communications. Taking peoples hard earned money, should be ashamed of themselves.

Like the others ordered steps for £17 but goods not received. A chargeback through my bank refunded the money. Unfortunately google adds still promoting Chestern.

Same as everyone else ..paid for a step ladder (cheapest about) on april 4th , still nothing delivered.!! OF COURSE IT HASN'T!!!! Realised now its a scam . No response from emails even though I've threatened them. Absolute scam company. Why aren't they being shut down to avoid others being scammed ?. Yes it was only £17 but imagine how many people are doing this... scamming lowlife scumbags 😡😡😡😡😡😡👊👊👊👊👊

If I could give zero I would, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY , THEY ARE SCAMMERS, NO REPLY TO E MAILS, NO PRODUCTS I BOUGHT WERE SENT, EVENTUALLY TOLD I COULD HAVE A REFUND , STILL HAVENT GOT IT , ITS BEEN GOING ON SINCE 3RD MARCH 2021 ..SCAM SCAM SCAM

Their official email doesn't work and there's no response on the gmail address after 3 weeks. DO NOT use this site.

If I could give no star I would,
Ordered 2 step step ladder 3rd March never received got an email to say had shipping problems and damaged stock, long story short requested a refund, still haven’t had the refund, now in the hands of the bank.
Only ever got a response when threatened them with trading standards...stay away from this company, big scam!!

Ordered a two step ladder on 20th March. On 26th March email received to advise order was shipped but to date has not been received. I have sent two emailing asking when it will be received and no response has been received. I would advise to stay away from this online retailer as in my eyes they are clearly scammers who take your money and run.

Not deserving of even 1 star - bought 2 step ladder on 17/2 as cheapest found. Obviously a scam, nothing received and emails unanswered. Was advised I'd get refund but that hasn't materialised. Dodgy email address (list one that is invalid) and other doesn't get answered. Not a registered company, no address or tel number. Have reported to CAB and Action Fraud. PLEASE, take care when buying anything from this company as it's a scam.

Bought a 2 step ladder and they have not contacted me or sent out item! If they are doing this to everyone, they’re making people loose money and getting away with theft!
