Churches Fire & Security Avis 

Khalil Noor attended today to do our Bi-Annual maintenance, khalil was courteous, polite and helpful. He took his time to carry out the various tests, very efficient if I say. I was out when he called attending an appointment, he then attended another appointment in the area and came back to our place, something most engineers will not do. I give Khalil Noor 10 out of 10. Answered all my questions.
Wish all engineers were like this one.

Max was the best customer service person I've dealt with for about five years. Polite, took responsibility, warm, responsive, seemed to know what she was doing and instilled confidence in me.Could you get the rest of your service to measure up, please? The phone robot is frustrating and recent comms show you have not updated contact details. Still, Max was great.

Had a lovely lad called Jordan Simpson come to our office to do our bi-annual fire check. He was so polite and helpful in the information and advice he gave us. His customer service skills are second to none. what a credit to the company he is.

We had no formal contract in place so thought we were able to move supplier but unfortunately they have a clause on the back of their invoices which constitutes a rolling 12 month contract.
Customers beware.

They took over an excellent customer orientated company but when problems occurred with our intruder alarm system the response was woeful. When we finally received an estimate to update the system it contained no details of the new equipment. I did some research and found the upgrade equipment costs about £300 so clearly the quote of around £1,250 was excessive. We are proceeding with a new system for about £1,100 with a local firm. We would not want any future involvement with Churches Fire and Security as they have no concept of customer service and loyalty or value for money.

Amie Anderson has been really helpful in liaising with the engineers when they call to book in our annual servicing for fire alarms, intruder alarms & extinguishers. We have two sites so it's more convenient for us to have these done on the same day. I email Amie and she liaises directly to get these booked in together, where possible. She responds quickly and resolves any issues. Thanks Amie :)

great company, very reliable, knowledgeable and friendly. I always get great friendly service from the whole team especially Elaine. they really look after our large site they are very organised and provide fair quotes.

My alarm system required its annual check and one of the company's engineers arrived to do it. I explained that I had not been able to remotely control my intruder alarm system for many months, an extra task for engineer Steve Gordon to resolve. Steve is a delightful chap and was eager to resolve the problem after successfully checking out my system. With the aid of Ian Burch at the other end of the phone the problem was eventually resolved.
I was very impressed the team spirit of these two chaps. Steve spent a lot longer here than expected but I am now able to remotely log in. I can't compliment these two chaps highly enough. Pure professionalism!! Many thanks Steve and Ian.

Churches took over another company hence they bcame our provider of alarm maintanance & monitoring, emergency lighting & fire extinguisher servicing. This being fo a large multi-let residential building. We have today switched to another company because Churches were appaulling. Engineers turned up unannounced. Staff would not return calls when they promised to. Correspondence was sent to the supply addrress not our office - despite requesting it was not at least 3 times. Also they are expensive and would not even reply reply regarding a quote. A large company that has "systems" but doesn't care for its service or the accountability of its staff who seem often ambivalent on the phone. The engineers who attend, to be fair, were ok but the main office not. I would stay clear - they do not deserve anyone's business.

absolute shocking service would not recommend, prices for call outs are a joke prices for parts are a joke and when you want to cancel you have to give 12 months notice. DO NOT BOTHER AT ALL GUYS.

Terrible company - encourage staff to rip people off to make their salary. Awful to employees for their own convenience. There is a reason they always have vacancies.

Second year in a row that they turned up at our office to do an emergency lighting test without an appointment. Their business methods are rather concerning. We have no contract with Churches and we have not authorised them to do the work. Avoid this company at all costs.

Do not use, they’re over inflated prices were 3 times that of others that quoted, they bought out the company that used to provide our service and these guys are shocking. 2 days and 4 emails to get them out to respond to an issue and I was still charged emergency call ou, then charged 5 times the retail price for a single detector. Getting out of service with them now since we didn’t want to get in the first place, they only inherited our business from a take over. I have emailed their support team but they haven’t responded… unsurprisingly

Agreed with Nick's review from 24th March 26. Avoid this company at all costs. You are not aware you are signing up to a 12 month notice to cancel. The customer service is dreadful, they take ages to respond and when they do respond it is insufficient. Terrible company, stay away !

Avoid this company at all costs. They had their terms and conditions when you use them so you are not aware you are signing up to a minimum period of 3 years and a 12 month notice to cancel. They are also about 50% more expensive than companies offering the same service. Terrible company, stay away !

I just wanted to take a moment to recognise Tracy Shears in the Customer Service team for her outstanding support.

Her approach and professionalism on behalf of one of the Hakim Group opticians was second to none. From start to finish, Tracy demonstrated a real understanding of our situation and delivered exceptional customer service.

It was genuinely refreshing to experience good old-fashioned customer service at its best, something that is all too rare these days. Tracy clearly takes pride in what she does, and it shows in every interaction.

She is an absolute credit to the company, and her efforts played a key role in retaining us as a customer.

Find someone else; they have no interest in domestic property and customer service

The engineers are ok but you will have to waste hours trying to get their admin and office people to organise anything. They wont return phone calls or emails. The only people who will ever contact you will be their accounts asking for money.

Since April 2025, they tried to install a new system but it is still not fully installed and still not operational after endless visits and cost overruns. Very frustrating as our church is not covered by fire and intruder alarm all this time. We see no end to this and will have to look for other options now.

When we asked them to replace a camera they charged for a service visit when no service was carried out on the other cameras. the replacement camera was not set up correctly and image quality was lower then the camera which it replaced. expected then to turn up first thing but didn't turn up till almost the afternoon.
