Ciao Italy Tours Avis

Guido was amazing to work with. My family and I traveled to Italy for 2 weeks for the first time. He outlined a perfect itinerary with private tours and transportation as well as the finest hotels. I highly recommend him and his team!

Hello Guido, We had wanted to thank you for putting together such an amazing trip for our clients. They absolutely loved it.
We wanted to share some highlights from our recent call catching up with one of the guests. Nancy B. (Jodi). Jodi says that you did an"outstanding" job staying in touch with them while traveling and going above and beyond by rearranging the transfer to midnight! The hotels and staff were just as "FANTASTIC!" They took all of the paperwork from the airlines (Pina in Sorrento)  re the lost luggage and took care of it all for them while the guests went about and toured and had something to eat.
The luggage was delivered and the guests were happy.Florence- "GREAT" hotel, location and beauty of it. The rooftop pool was wonderful and "Guido set up perfect tours''Brando the guide for both Sienna was also their guide for Cinque Terre which was great as they really liked him. He took them to a WW2 cemetery in one of towns coming back from Siena that was closed. He knew someone there and they were allowed to go in- this was over the top for these ladies ! (Thank you and thanks Brando!)
All property locations were great and convenient to get around. The time in each location was just right, although if they had one more day in Florence they would have shopped more- haha.Sorrento was the perfect time to visit and the Amalfi coast was beautiful, but do not recommend taking the coast trip on a Friday as it was very busy- during the week is better.
Again, Gudio, we thank you for making another perfectly planned trip for our clients- they cannot wait to come back and visit the east coast now!!

We recently went to Italy and used our agent Mystic Valley Travel who partnered with Ciao Italy Tours to arrange what turned out to be a vacation of a lifetime. Ciao Italy organized a remarkable itinerary that spanned two weeks covering northern Italy's most beautiful areas and sights. The itinerary included gondola rides in Venice, a cooking class in Florence, a vineyard tour, walking tours of the cities with a break for gelato, and walking tours via a hop on/off train in Cinque Terre. And there was so much more. We got to see the Last Supper in Florence which were the hardest tickets to get in all of Italy. The hotels were in excellent locations and in the center of where we needed to be. The driver pickups were excellent with everyone on time as we visited 5 cities and had several tours requiring pickup. All without having to worry about if and when they were coming. Avoid the anonymity of dealing with online agents who don't get to know you. This trip was personalized to our specific desires.

Needless to say we’d use there services again in the future. And would highly recommend them to friends and family.

We had a couple issues with other vendors outside of ciao Italy during our trip. Guido, from Ciao Italy was extremely helpful and responsive when helping us resolve the issues. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and taken care of. Ciao Italy was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely refer them to friends and use them again should we take another trip to Italy!

Guido and I have been working on a Northern Italy tour since 2019. First time our group has used Ciao Italy. After a bad experience with another company's guide I was apprehensive trying a new company. Guido was so helpful through the whole process and worked with me through all the ups and downs of Covid. I cannot express how happy me and my group are with all the details that were planned. I feel they have gone above and beyond what was required of them. All the details were more than I expected. Loved working with Beatrice. Our guide Renzo for the Lake portion and Giovanni for the Venice portion were excellent. They made the trip for us. Highly recommend using Ciao Italy for your customized trips. Thank you!

Italy - Florence, Cinque Terres, and Tuscany - Guido D'Ugo assisted with the organization of our entire 12 day trip for a family of 6 adults. All of our drivers were professional and on time. We loved everyone of the private tours/excursions, including our cooking classes and private winery tours. When external forces created issues, Guido was right there assisting with an immediate and appropriate resolution. I highly recommend Guido to assist you with your tour of Italy! Our trip was amazing!

I can think of a more trusted or valued travel agency. Barbara Saltarelli and Guido D'Ugo showed great compassion and flexibility during the COVID crisis. Quality and client satisfaction is what makes Ciao a special place to arrange your travel needs.

No one knows Italy like Ciao! We like the many options they offer and the ability to completely customize a tour to the clients wishes.

I worked with Isida and she was extremely fast to reply as always very pleasant.. She also offered advice and ideas.

Enjoyed working with Isida and CIAO ITALY!

Clients enjoyed the Sicily tour as expected. Maurizio was a very attentive guide and went beyond to contact clients relatives. They were very appreciative. Thank you.

Great to work with. Any issues were dealt with .

Although our stay in Rome was brief, Ciao Italy did a wonderful job in arranging drivers and guides. The drivers were on time, every time and the guide for both the Tour of Ancient Rome and the Vatican was exceptionally knowledgeable. GREAT JOB!!

In a difficult and demanding situation, the team at Ciao Italy stood by me in dealing with my client.

Barbara was fantatstic from beginning to end on a complicated girls gotta get away to Italy CHEAP!

Thank you Thank you

A most wonderful tour and Maurizio, our guide through it all, was a fantastic guide. Totally recommend these tours to all.

My clients were thrilled with accommodations - excursions - private transfers confirmed through Ciao Italy and Carrani Tours. My booking agent, Donna Jacquot was terrific!

We booked two tours on our trip to Italy - one was in Rome for the Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums and the Basilica - the other was a day trip from Florence to Cinque Terre. The latter tour was fantastic and everything we had hoped for - well organized, wonderful tour guide and a great way to see a very special part of Italy. The first tour, however, was a complete let down. We started out with a large group of about 26 - however from the group meeting location to the starting point of the museum, an individual of a couple got lost. We spent 30 minutes outside the entrance to the museum while our group leader ran around trying to find the lost individual.

Needless to say we started the tour late and then ended up ending the tour 30 minutes earlier than we were supposed to. I am not sure if the tour guide, upon starting late, rushed us through the rest but it seemed that it was far too fast paced and we feel rushed throughout the entire tour. Very sad and frustrated that we were not able to fully enjoy the museums, the Sistine Chapel and the Basilica. I would recommend for this tour in Rome - the groups are smaller or you have two group leaders to assist with maneuvering such a large group from the meeting point to the entrance since it is a bit chaotic.
