Ciao Italy Tours planned a wonderful trip for my clients. All went smoothly, all transfers were on time and my clients returned home, knowing that they did not miss anything.

Ciao Italy did a fabulous job arranging our last minute trip to Sicily. The accommodations, tour guides and drivers that Ciao Italy arranged were amazing! The Hotel Boras was beautiful and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our tour guide Marina was a wealth of knowledge and just so sweet! And our drivers were friendly, efficient and safe. I have to compliment our driver, Cenzo for not only getting us to my grandfathers village safely, but helping us locate our family there! That is something we never thought would happen. Ciao Italy soiled us and I can’t imagine planning a trip to Italy without using them again!

We took tour 348609 - Grand Tour of Tuscany - Siena, Pisa and San Gimingnano - small group and it was outstanding! This tour has three stops plus a visit to Castello Sonnino winery and was one of our only tours that had fewer than the maximum number of people that was advertised. There was a wonderful guided tour in Siena plus we had time on our own in Pisa and San Gimignano. It is a long day but definitely worth it because much of the driving is through the Tuscan countryside which was absolutely beautiful. we visited Castello Sonnino in the heart of the Chianti region of Tuscany. The highlight of our visit was seeing the recently hand-harvested grapes drying to be made into Vin Santo. It was magical to witness this centuries-old production process in person.

I want to thank Viviane Grainger for making our trip to Italy so wonderful. Everything was planned to the last detail from the fabulous tours to the lovely hotels. We were able to enjoy the most of every city.
I look forward to our next trip and her help in planning another fabulous adventure.

My husband and I were looking for a once in a lifetime experience to Italy and Ciao Italy did NOT disappoint! Renee helped us every step of the way since we didn't even know where to start. Renee worked side by side with us making this special trip everything we could dream of and more. Every question we had was answered pretty much instantly and throughly. Every request we had was met and exceeded beyond what we could have imagined. We had a 10 day vacation starting in Venice, then traveling to Florence then to Sorrento and ending and leaving from Rome with MANY stops along the way. Every place we stayed was more beautiful than the last if that's even possible! Of all the many experiences and tours that were set up for us, our absolute favorite was the private boat tour of Capri that was arranged for us. It was absolutely breath taking and the boat crew were not only super skillful and knowledgeable but also very warm and kind and funny and made the experience that much more memorable. Renee made sure every arrangement and detail was completed so we didnt have to do anything but show up and enjoy ourseleves. I could go on and on about everything amazing that we experienced thanks to Renee, but I will just say to experience it for yourself and book a trip with them! You will not be disappointed. On our last full day in Rome while on a small tour we actually met another 2 couples that were traveling together and after talking for a bit we found out the 4 of them were also from staten island and also used Ciao Italy for their trip! Ciao Italy is full of great people who care about giving you a great experience. Thank you Renee for making our once in a lifetime dream vacation a reality for us.

After no vacations since before covid, I excitedly used Ciao Italy to insure my sons and I did not miss anything important on our upcoming tour to Rome, to see Cat Stevens and to tour Rome.
We enjoyed every day and every tour. One of our favorites was Costanza and the tour of the Jewish ghetto. She was very pleasant, energetic, and knowlegeable.
Then came our day long trip to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast Tour. Our printout, which we still have, shows that travelers have an hour to enjoy Positano and another hour to enjoy Amalfi.
First, the driver was 30 minutes late to the pickup. When the van stopped at Amalfi my sons and I were the first off and out to see the sights. The driver said nothing to us about a return time. We enjoyed the beautiful area, shopping, and had lunch. So that we did not worry anyone about being late, my sons were paying our lunch check while I returned to the van .
When I got to the van the driver, Alessandro (middle aged) ,started to scream at me about being late. He was screaming that ten minutes means ten minutes. I said 10 minutes, the itinerary said 1 hour. Shortly my sons arrived. One of them was going to apologize to Alessandro when I said don't you dare, he has been screaming at me.
We heard from the others tourists in the van, a father and daughter from New York and two friends from a Spanish speaking country, that Alessandro had been pacing and cursing outside of the van waiting for us. He was using foul language including mother-f...
My youngest son approached him at our stop at Pompeii and said he owed me an apology. He not only did not apologize, he had the nerve to say he had behaved like a professional. He ruined the rest of the tour for us and Pompeii was much less enjoyable. The ride back to the hotel was virtually silent except for whispered discussions regarding Alessandro's behavior. If it hadn't ruined our trip it would have been humorous. When my son and I told him our itinerary said 1 hour, he said he was in charge and it was the amount of time that he said.
The reason I say middle aged is not to be mean, but we had another driver with the same name who was young, and he was very pleasant.

We would like to thank Nancy Bradford from Nomadic Travel Company in conjuncture with Ciao Italy tours for an amazing, beautiful, personalized trips! They put together our tours of Venice, Bologna, Florence, Sorrento, Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Rome.
Hotels rooms were what we expected but bathroom and showers could have been bigger.
Travelling and transfers were exactly how we requested it! Everything was perfect from start to finish, English speaking vans drivers and trains were on-time, with spacious seats and luggage accommodations. Activity vouchers, with detailed explanation, VIP tickets to skip long lines and tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly.
There was not a day that we did not know what to do or where to go! We are very happy we used Ciao Italy and we would highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Italy.

I have never used a travel company but for my honeymoon I knew my husband and I wanted to see a lot of Italy in a short time and with planning a wedding I just did not have it in me to plan and research a country I did not know much about. So, I was on the hunt to find a travel agent and after getting extremely expensive and out of my budget quotes, I found Ciao Italy. My main concern when using a travel company was the costs, I knew how much I wanted to spend and what we wanted to do and where we wanted to stay, and Ciao Italy listened to everything I said and stayed within my budget. Stefania was who we worked with, and she was a great communicator even with the time differences I never felt uneasy or out of the loop. Everything about our trip was great! We had excellent drivers who were always on time, even early. Our tour guides were so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. All of the hotels we stayed in were clean, safe, and very accommodating to any of our needs. We learned so much from our tour guides who were all passionate about their cities which was also all of their homes. It made the tours much more interesting to hear from someone who actually lives in the places we were touring. It felt more personal, and I didn't feel like such a tourist. I am very happy we used Ciao Italy and I would highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Italy.
