So far

So far, it seems like we are experiencing a lot of same issues listed on all of the negative reviews. Poor communication, empty promises, and we have paid all of the upfront cost and still no LOC.

We are not interested in a reimbursement so we will continue to play the waiting game and document the process and ever delay.

For the record “We are wrong company to scam.”

I hope they keep their word.

Do NOT work with this company! Scam hard working people!

This company operates as Fundpera. I was told if I paid $450 for initial funding costs and $25 expedited fee that my funding would be next business day. Then I got a closing cost fee of $280 and as soon as I pay that, my funding would be next day once again. Max told me that my funding was sent out at 6pm. I then questioned again a couple days later as he said so many business days. At the end of those business days, I inquired again and asked for a full refund. He said to check my email which I did and it said that all their accounts were frozen so they couldn’t send out money, that I needed to request a recall and they would cooperate fully with the refund. It’s been over 2 weeks and I still haven’t gotten anything back but I have got more emails from Fundpera and Max that I’m pre approved for funding. I just want my money back and will be going to the proper channels to do so.

EDIT to add: I have all documentation of my claims and this companies non-cooperation. They have now told me they will no longer communicate with me due to my negative review/false public accusations. Nothing I have said is false and I have screenshots to support my statements.

They took my money!!! Scammers!!


I am submitting this report to document my experience with a funding service that I believe may be involved in fraudulent or deceptive practices.

At first, my interactions with this company seemed legitimate. I successfully completed a loan with them, paid it off, and expected a confirmation of payoff. However, I never received any receipt or notice confirming that the loan had been paid in full.

Later, I applied for a line of credit through the same company. I was told that after paying certain fees, I would receive a card linked to my line of credit. On [October 17th & October 24th ], I sent $1,355 as part of this process. After sending the payment, I was repeatedly told that my card would be sent out “next week,” “tomorrow,” or “in the next few days.” This continued for several weeks without any results.

At one point, they claimed they were waiting for me to provide my address, which I had already submitted multiple times. After that, the excuses continued and communication became increasingly unprofessional. The representative I dealt with became rude, stopped replying to my texts, ignored my phone calls, and provided no concrete updates or documentation.

When I finally decided to file a wire recall through my bank to recover my $1,355, the company threatened me and stated that it would take 90 days for me to receive a refund. I also began researching the company online and found that many other people have reported similar experiences — sending money, not receiving any services or cards, and losing communication afterward.

Additionally, the same representative has been pressuring me to take down negative reviews I posted about the situation. I have made it clear that I will continue to post reviews until I receive my refund.

I also read that another individual has already contacted the FBI regarding this company. If that person sees this report, I would like to connect and share my documentation so that our cases can be linked and properly investigated.

I am requesting that this complaint be reviewed for possible wire fraud or financial misconduct. I have all receipts, messages, and records of payment available to support my claim.

FAKE REVIEW - this is "Kanesha" aka "Kanesha Walker" writing duplicate reviews from another account. We have already replied to her we are currently waiting on our bank to realse our funds and clients funds to issue a refund.

Lie scam they tell you your funds will…

Lie scam they tell you your funds will be mailed out on this day and a 4 days later tell u there was an issue and then tell u it will be another week or longer. They just take your money and run

Beware

Update as of 5/15/26: Someone from their team emailed me claiming they hadn't issued a refund because their bank account had been frozen. I was told I will receive my refund once they fix the issues with their account. They have also tried to remove this review flagging it as defamatory at least once. Stay tuned.

Update as of 12/10/25: My bank has requested the wire recall, as instructed by Fundpera's support team. Fundpera support said that they will have their financial institution cooperate immediately. It has been more than two weeks since the recall request was made, and there has been no response. Do not trust these people, absolutely proceed with caution.

Things started out promising, I paid the interest reserve fee which was outlined in the agreement. The agreement looked a little sketchy but I figured I would give it the benefit of the doubt. All of a sudden a second fee popped up, and I was only ever given a generic explanation as to what exactly this fee covers that didn't really make much sense. This closing costs fee was demanded upfront prior to any final approvals, which, after speaking to a lawyer friend of mine, is not standard practice and is a major red flag when it comes to funding and financing. That's when I started digging into this company more and found people have had similar experiences and negative outcomes - both here and on Reddit. After doing more research, I contacted Max again to inquire further about the information I was seeing online, and his attitude shifted quickly. He claimed lawsuits had been filed against the individuals who wrote the negative reviews, for "defamation". I asked for the jurisdiction where these lawsuits had been filed, and I was told I am "nosey" and that is none of my business. I consulted with my lawyers friends again, and did some research, and while some lawsuit information is typically confidential, the jurisdiction of the filing is not, and any reputable company will provide that as it's not confidential. I searched each state's database for all the known names of this company that I was able to find online, and there is no record of such lawsuits. Additionally, a company filing a lawsuit over negative reviews online is just... weird, you know? No reasonable business owner would waste money on court fees for what is ultimately pocket change. I have requested a refund on 11/7 but as it was after business hours on a Friday, I haven't heard yet. Max has ceased communication with me after calling me "nosey" for simply doing my due diligence. I have saved copies of every document they have sent me, as well as print outs of each communication we have exchanged. I will post an update once I hear back about the refund, which I am expecting to happen today.

Business owners beware! suspicious and shady practices

I had a gut feeling telling me something was off from the beginning. I have been speaking with someone named Max, who according to the multiple titles I’ve seen on email correspondence should be a major funding expert/underwriter. Received an other email stating he’s a business funding advisor. I been in contact with him for a little over a week and after sending in the reserve fee to secure the funding I was told I’d receive in the form of a business like of credit, I just received an additional email asking me to send additional funds for closing costs which makes no sense if it’s a line of credit. After being told I’d be done with underwriting today, I receive this email late this evening after not getting any of the updates I was promised today and it’s all starting to seem very suspicious. The business is registered in Wyoming yet has a Miami phone number and separate office address. Come to find out the Wyoming address is just a registered agent and they have no physical presence in Wyoming. I have requested to have my reserve fee returned to me promptly as stated in the contract. I have attempted to call and text Max multiple times and as others have stated, all communication has ceased and I can’t no longer get any type of response. Please stay away from this company!!! They have changed names multiple times recently and I wish I’d done my due diligence to vet this company before doing anything further. SCAM! THIS IS RIDICULOUS. if no action is taken to rectify the situation in accordance with the wording of the contract, I will be contacting the proper authorities to ensure these people don’t continue to get away with preying on business owners simply trying to make a living. I do have copies of all contracts and documents signed as well as receipts. I hope the right thing is done and my funds are returned. If you own a business and are in need of funding, stay far away from this place.

Update:
After me submitting documentation showing that I am entitled to a full refund based on FTC and UCC guidelines in the event the 3rd calendar day for requesting a refund falls on a weekend or holiday. Because the 3rd day was a Sunday, and the notification was made in the next business day it should be honored and they are refusing to refund my money and offering me a laughable amount in return. I have filed fraud reports with my financial institution, their financial institution, the Secretary of State where the business filing is registered as well as with federal and local law enforcement.

Update – November 5, 2025

After multiple email exchanges and repeated attempts to obtain a refund of my “reserve” fee, FundPera agreed in writing to issue a full refund. However, they are now stating that because I notified my bank, their bank, and several regulatory and law-enforcement agencies about the situation, the refund has not yet been processed. They have asked me to instruct my bank to cancel the wire-reversal request in order to allow them to send the refund — which I have declined, since they have provided no evidence that any refund attempt was ever made.

I have supplied complete documentation and email records to my bank (Navy Federal Credit Union) and to Column National Association, which is FundPera’s bank. I have not yet received a response from Column’s Payment Operations team. The most recent message from FundPera claimed they “had not done anything illegal,” even though they previously offered a full refund and have since continued to delay.

This review reflects my honest experience to date. I hope FundPera completes the refund promptly so this matter can be closed without further escalation.

Update 11/7/25
I have yet to receive the refund I requested and that I was told was being processed on 11/5. I have not heard anything from Fundpera or anyone from Column National association (fundpera’s banking partner). My financial institution has verified that the recall has been sent and has not been responded to. I will update my IC3 complaint and the complaints I’ve made thru other channels to hopefully get this matter resolved. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! Please beware

Finally after over a month of waiting, my funds were returned to me on 12/08/25. I thought that would be over and done with I got my money back I was happy. Well now just a few days ago I got a call from a representative at almost 10pm central time asking me to update my trustpilot review or delete it because the issue was resolved. Then I received multiple emails and calls because i hadn’t updated my review fast enough for them. I thought this was over and behind me and here they come again So I’m giving you all this update. I’m thankful I was able to get this resolved and I hope no one else has an experience like I did.

We want to clarify the facts surrounding this situation for full transparency.

A full refund of the initial consulting fee was ultimately issued to the client. The reversal process was completed through our banking system, which can take time to fully process depending on the financial institutions involved. This delay is procedural and does not indicate any refusal or failure to refund.

At no point did we withhold the agreed refund. The consulting fee was returned in full once the refund request was processed through the proper banking channels.

We also want to clarify that the description of our services as “fraudulent” or a “scam” is inaccurate and not supported by the documented resolution of this matter. The client did, in fact, receive a full refund of the consulting fee.

Regarding communication, we maintain records of all correspondence and made multiple attempts to resolve concerns directly. We also requested cooperation to allow the refund process to complete without interruption from external dispute actions, which can sometimes delay banking reversals.

We respect the client’s right to share their experience; however, we believe it is important that readers understand the outcome: the consulting fee was fully refunded.

We remain committed to transparency and to resolving all client matters professionally and in accordance with proper financial procedures.

Weirdos

This company is STILL insisting that I update my review when it's already been VERIFIED. Now they are saying that I looked at the wrong site. It was Sebastian, through email, and Max through text, that I dealt with.

So what I have decided to do is give a 1 star review EVERY TIME that I am contacted by them or Trustpilot, on their behalf. At some point, they'll get tired of getting 1 star reviews.🤷🏽‍♀️

I'll win!! They won't give up but neither will I.

these guys know what theyre doing, havent seen any other people doing it like them. got funding for 12% interest no other payments needed and no monthly payments with how they do it. Plus they taught me alot about credit and business. thank you for helping me
