Clarks - Exeter Avis 43

I loved my shopping experience at Clarks Exeter. Mechelle was excellent and supporting me whilst creating no pressure. There's an art to good customer service and it was very apparent.

We were served by Mechelle J yesterday 23rd April. She was the most helpful person I have ever come across. I would highly recommend Clarks shoe shop in Exeter.

I went in to buy trainers that I had seen in the window. I then saw the sale rack. I found court shoes well reduced. I chose a size but then asked to change it. The sales assistant was polite, reassured me I wasn't being annoying. She politely told me there wasn't the black in the size I wanted. I was surprised as I had the right one in my hand. Anyway it was eventually found. We had the same with the trainers so very kindly these were ordered for free home delivery. An excellent service.

I found some gorgeous shoes and Mechelle could not have been more helpful.

Saw Bobbie yesterday to have my children's feet measured. My daughter was upset that her feet hadn't changed size and Bobbie helped console her by showing her how to measure her brother's feet which she loved. We didn't need new shoes on this occasion but will be back when the weather changes or their feet grow, whichever comes first! Great customer service.

I had a great experience in store today, I wanted a pair of knee high black boots and found the perfect pair straight away. Timothy was happy to assist me and quickly found them in my size. He was also very well versed about their care and gave me great tips to keep them in pristine condition. Could not recomend more.

Went in looking to buy another pair the same as the ones I bought @3 years ago. Maria immediately came up to me, checked my shoe type & size and came back with an identical pair, offering me an extra long shoe horn to try them on. Then helped me access an extra 10% discount. I haven't received such caring helpful service in years. Happy Xmas Clarks , I hope you stay in business.

After numerous times of using a relatives staff discount card in various stores - some jobsworth in the Exeter store challenged myself using the card. The card is provided for the cardholder to allow others to use it. One person is never going to buy 20 pairs of shoes in a year. The inconvenience this caused myself having to travel a 30 mile round trip to the Exmouth store where no questions were asked and the same pair of boots were purchased. An apology from the Exeter store is very much needed though it would not make me return there.

Store poor knowledge when asked regarding availability of specific shoe. Waited over 15 minutes for a member of staff to attend to me. Only one other customer in store at the time. Ended up ordering online limited stock very narrow show no availability to order wider fit for any colour

Maria in the Exeter branch was so helpful finding the right sizes and fit for me. She was so friendly and couldn't have done more. Very pleased with the two pairs of shoes that I purchased. Would highly recommend.

Thank you Hulde who works in the Exeter store who helped us buy our little girls first school shoes. Hulde was very knowledgeable and helpful, even after trying on around 10 pairs of shoes, she was still very patient. Thank you for making my little girls experience buying her first shoes so pleasurable .
