I had to get an end of tenancy clean, and from reviews online I decided to try Cleaner Cleaner. Honestly 10/10 everything. Communication was perfect, quick replies, super kind everyone who I’ve spoken to. The cleaning itself, beautiful. I had the pleasure of having Tanya cleaning my house, she was efficient and did an outstanding job. She cleaned perfectly. My bathroom was a mess, and now it looks brand new. End of tenancy cleaning
I booked an end of tenancy cleaning and carpet steaming and I am very satisfied with the service. The company communicated clearly the pricing and what the service entailed, and adressed my questions promptly
The job itself was excellent. Everything was cleaned to a high standard and in a very short time. I have used other companies for previous end of tenancy cleanings and cleaner cleaner has been the best so far. Would certainly recommend.

Booked an end of tenancy clean, Flat was completely empty and rubbish removed. On the day of my move out they said they would only pay if I paid an extra £80. I had no other option but to accept. I would avoid this company at all costs. Just out to make a quick buck and made you pay cash. Dodgy.

At the time of booking, we clearly explained that the quoted price was based on the property being in a normal condition, and we shared examples to help clarify what would be considered excessive or outside that scope. Unfortunately, no concerns were raised in advance, and when our team arrived, the property required significantly more work than anticipated — well beyond what a standard end of tenancy clean involves.
In such situations, we always give our clients a choice: to proceed with an adjusted price reflecting the extra time and effort involved, or to cancel the service with no charge. You chose to continue and confirmed acceptance of the additional cost in writing.
We understand moving can be a stressful time, and we’re sorry this added pressure. Our goal has never been to catch anyone off guard but to be transparent and fair, even when things don’t go exactly to plan.

Paid £452 for an end of tenancy…
Paid £452 for an end of tenancy cleaning. One lady with a trolley arrived at 8:30 am and couldn't finish before the inventory checkout at 4pm (this is supposed to be a work for at least 2 people, so I feel bad for the professional). Result is I was charged £72 extra by the landlord for cleaning.

After thoroughly checking our records, we’ve been unable to locate a booking or communication under your name, nor any issues raised on the day in question. Great service
I have no complaints about the service from quotation through to execution as I thought everything was excellent. Unfortunately I cannot give 5 stars as I did have to pay a little of my deposit for some areas to be cleaned a little more. I personally feel the landlord was very harsh here and the scheduled visit was past the 24hour period the clean is guaranteed for.

Carpets cleaned to the highest standard
The operative arrived early but checked in advance - he brought his equipment to the flat and was no in any way phased by the fact that there was furniture in the two rooms where the carpets were to be cleaned. He completed the work quickly and efficiently and the result was as good as I could expect. The communication with the company is excellent.

I am writing to formally report an escalating and distressing series of messages and online abuse
sent to our company by a man identifying himself as Geoffrey McKenna, partner of a former client
Tiffany Sim.
We are Cleaner Cleaner Ltd, a professional cleaning company based in London, and we provided
an end of tenancy cleaning service to Ms Sim on 2nd April 2025 at her rented property in Canada
Water. Prior to the service, we provided a quotation and sent our standard terms and conditions,
including a clear note advising that all personal possessions should be removed prior to the
cleaning, as anything used or opened would be discarded as part of preparing the property to a
professionally "unused" standard.
Summary of Events:
On the day of service, used toiletries and general waste were present and, in line with our terms,
were removed.
A few days later, Geoffrey contacted us asking about a soap box and face scrub. We explained that
any used personal items would have been discarded, and even offered to replace the soap box via
Amazon.
Geoffrey continued to correspond, later attaching sentimental value to the discarded items and
making escalating complaints — shifting from missing items to supposedly unclean areas.
We responded politely, requesting the inventory report for review, which was not provided.
11 weeks after the service, we were suddenly contacted by another individual (Dennis) — allegedly
Geoffrey’s friend — who accused us of theft, dishonesty, and of hiding our phone number. Geoffrey
then followed up by email using aggressive and threatening language.
Escalating Behaviour:
The email we received from Geoffrey included the following abusive and discriminatory statements
(direct quotes):
"Go back to whichever rubbish bin or country you are from. The third world belongs to thieves like
you!"
"Are you not afraid of karma befalling on your children for your dishonesty?"
"You are dumb to remove your mobile number...
"
"All I need is to pay some big influencers to spread the word for me that your company is SHIT!"
This language is deeply racist, personal, and threatening — targeting my national origin, my family,
and our company reputation with intent to cause distress, reputational harm, and fear.
Our Response:
We have consistently responded to Geoffrey in a polite, transparent, and respectful manner, even
when provoked. Our final message to him clearly stated that his messages crossed the line and
that we were referring the matter to the police.
Since then, Geoffrey has:
Left at least one fake online review under a different name (Aye Landscape)
Threatened to leave more defamatory reviews
Admitted to posting false information on multiple platforms and encouraging others to do the same
Why We Are Reporting:
This is not just a customer complaint. This is targeted harassment, defamation, and a hate incident
under the Equality Act and police guidance.
We are concerned for the safety and wellbeing of our team, and also for the reputation of our
business, which could be irreparably harmed by coordinated online abuse.
Geoffrey’s messages are menacing in tone, and reference harming our company through social

media manipulation, while directing racial abuse at me personally.
We are requesting that this matter be investigated under relevant legislation:
Protection from Harassment Act 1997
Malicious Communications Act 1988

I got a 'deep clean' done before I moved into my flat by Cleaner Cleaner and it was TERRIBLE!
Cobwebs and dust still all over the place, surfaces smeared and not properly wiped, toilet was totally disgusting, honestly it was the worst clean i have ever had.
I got in touch with them to remedy this, and asked if they would come back and do the whole (1-bed) small flat again given the level of service i had recieved. I sent photos etc and was told they would only do the bits they had missed. Well by this point, and by the time they could come again, I had had to clean them myself. I was then offered £20 as a gesture which is insulting given that the clean I paid for to be done was well over £200!!
I will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN and would not recommend them to anyone. It was the worst professional cleaning service I have ever encountered.

After a thorough review of our records from the last three months, we believe we have now located the relevant case, which dates back around 15 weeks.
We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We always take feedback seriously and aim to resolve concerns fairly and promptly.
Following your initial message, we offered to return the very next day to address the areas mentioned. Unfortunately, that timing didn’t suit you. We then proposed two further appointments — including a weekend slot — but none were accepted. Without a suitable time for a return visit, we were unable to deliver our service guarantee.
Despite this, we extended a goodwill refund of £20 — not because we believe the clean was below professional standards, but because we value customer satisfaction and wanted to acknowledge your disappointment.

The technician was pleasant
The technician was pleasant, polite and efficient. The work was meticulous and the end result was very good considering this was an old rug with some stubborn stains. The rug looked almost new after the cleaning. No mess and the rug was dry in a few hours. I would recommend Cleaner Cleaner Ltd any time!

Awful - do not use
Awful job, they didn't do anywhere near a good enough clean. The check-out inventory report found hair in the bathroom sink, food residue throughout the fridge, and they didn't even wipe the oven down properly, leaving foam spray and grease throughout. I was charged an additional £260 by my landlord for the check-out clean to fix the mess they left behind, meaning I spent £500 in total on two end of tenancy cleans. When I raised this with the company, they told me "too bad, we have a 24 hour re-clean policy" despite the fact I showed them the photos of obvious soiling and dirt that they missed. My experience was absolutely appalling, I would not recommend this company to anyone. I've still got the photos to back up my story if anyone wants them!

Our records show that the check-out report was completed four days after our service, and the issue was raised with us 23 days later, which unfortunately falls outside both our inspection within 24 hours of the service, and our 7-day guarantee terms for service.
Despite this, we’ve taken the time to carefully review the report and compare the photos provided with those taken by our team on the day of the clean. From this comparison, it’s clear that the property appears to have been in use in the time between our service and the report being conducted. As such, we are unable to confidently verify the state of the property immediately following our clean. we completely understand how frustrating and upsetting this situation must be. It is never our intention for a customer to feel dissatisfied or unsupported.
Although we are unable to offer a refund or a return visit under the circumstances, we appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue to improve our services.
