After reading the response to my review, I would like to update with further notes about the experience. Despite knowing that my mum is elderly, Trevor Skidmore wrote in an email
"we don't have all day to wait around for a customer to answer a call or the door when we have other customers to attend to"
I dont believe that sort of attitude is acceptable. In addition, if Lloyd DID wait for 15 minutes, why didnt he knock on the door again, as Mum clearly hadnt heard the first time? And it makes even less sense that he was 'out of the area' when I called just 10-15 minutes after he 'supposedly' left.

Initial Review -
I am clearly in one of the areas where this company does not provide the same level of service as elsewhere.

After waiting two weeks for someone to come and provide a quotation, I was given a three-hour appointment window today. As I was at work and my elderly mother was at home, I repeatedly requested a more specific arrival time to make arrangements easier for her. I stressed the importance of this several times, including at 9am this morning.

Despite this, a contractor named Lloyd arrived at 10:15am and apparently knocked twice before leaving. He was fully aware that someone was at home, yet made no further attempt to contact us before departing.

When I was able to call just half an hour later, I was told he was already "out of the area" and would not return.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the company's original email stated that measurements could be taken from outside the property. The windows requiring replacement are at the front of the house and are clearly visible, so I am at a loss as to why this could not have been done.

To make matters worse, I subsequently received several emails from someone named Trevor, who offered no apology whatsoever and instead appeared to place the entire blame on me.

After waiting two weeks, making repeated efforts to accommodate the appointment and explaining my mother's circumstances, I would have expected at least some understanding, flexibility and basic courtesy.

Based on my experience, the lack of communication, unwillingness to resolve the situation and complete absence of an apology have left me extremely disappointed. I certainly would not recommend this company.

Person arrived on time, and replace glazing and cleared up the debris took it all away

Cloudy2Clear have now replaced two glass panels in our conservatory (on two separate occasions). In both cases, the staff were extremely efficient and effective in their service during the initial assessment, the survey and the installation. Their prices were reasonable too.
We have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

They sent someone out quickly to measure the affected windows; gave a quote for them to be replaced and arranged a date for them to come and fix them.
Also, both the initial visit and the visit to fix the windows, they phoned when 30 minutes away - which I found very helpful.
