Ordered a .22 conversion full upper kit thru my LGS and paid for it. That was July 10 2021. The store owner has since ordered a similar unit from Bear Creek because he could not get a decent response from his CMMG rep. Been waiting about 2 months for the Bear Creek order. Store owner has not gotten a refund f the CMMG REP, nor have I. Just wish someone would buy out the owners so CMMG products would actually be made. Update. Happy with the Bear Creek upper, which showed up about a week after I first posted. Fit perfectlyBill

Their products are top notch. If the review was just for their products, it would be a 5 star. However, their customer service/business practices would be a 0 star. If you are willing to wait for 6 months (or in my case, 10 months) and don’t mind handing over $1000s of dollars AND not have anyone respond for weeks to your inquiries, you’ll be happy. They do not answer their phones and take at least 10 days to respond to an email, if they decide to reply. The worst part was I originally placed the order, I knew there was going to be a wait. I was ok with that, but expected that, if I had a question, it would be answered. Nope, apparently this was an unrealistic expectation. Then, after 6 months of a wait, CMMG told me that I had to cancel my order and put in a new order. I still don’t know why this was the case. I tried to find a similar product, but it was difficult as their website is a mess. Instead of the 4 items I ordered, on the second order I was only able to order 3 items and, even after a “10% discount code” the price was over $200 more. In short, I got less products and had to pay more money. I sent multiple emails, tried to call, etc to get clarification, but no luck. I did not have any other company that I could order the parts from, so I was stuck. Great equipment, but do not expect any communication. Is it worth it? That will be up to you. I am extremely doubtful that I will be a return customer. 10 months was too long in my opinion.

This company is up their with the worst on the internet. I'm tired of companies blaming Covid or that they can't hire enough people. These are garbage excuses! If you cant answer your phones, or return voicemails, or have a chat that continues to time out right when its close to your turn...THEN JUST TURN OFF YOUR WEBSITE AND STOP TAKING MORE ORDERS, UNTIL YOU CAN CATCH UP AND DELIVER ANY SEMBLANCE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE! This place is horrible! They can't ship timely, if at all, and their is no way to communicate with a human being at all. I will never buy another CMMG product and highly advise you stay away from this company unless you want to endure endless aggravation!

I have had 2 complete builds on order for a year. I have sent inquies to customer service. The last response was 4 months ago with a canned reply of it will ship as soon as it is built. I do not see CMMG staying it business much longer as there wait times are unreasonable and customer service is horrible. I would never recommend CMMG anyone.

I have a number of CMMG products. But their latest lead times are ridiculous.

I ordered a new upper and lower back in early December of 2020. We are already at October of 2021 and still have nothing. Not even an update since April. Same for another Banshee ordered in March of 2021.

I can NOT recommend this company any more. Even thought I used to recommend them to everyone.

There website says "there a build to order company and they will only charge your card when items are ready to ship", well my card has been charged yet items still haven't shipped. It shouldn't take a week to get ship parts you have in stock. Your better off ordering from brownells. Sure your gonna have some shipping but it will get there in a few days.

Great customer service !!!! I was talking to Bryan about my firing pin problem and asked for some simple pictures and next thing you know three pins with springs and stickers are coming my way. Great job Bryan !! Your customer Jack

CMMG has lots of great firearms, products/parts, etc. but apparently, they are so over-extended and short-handed, their customer service has degraded to the "horrible" level.

I bought an AR upper. It took 6 months to receive if I remember correctly. On the first day to use it, and after the second jamb, the charging handle broke.

I sent an email to customer service requesting a replacement and was told via email, "I'm sorry to see that, I have CC tech support on this email and they should be able to give you a hand!"

This is the second time (different issue) I've been told they would help me and they haven't. I've spent a lot of $ at CMMG over the years and still I wait.

I've liked using CMMG in years past but for the last year or so, things have not gone well.

If you need help or products from cmmg . com expect long waits and slow customer service.

If they replace my charging handle with a structurally sound one very soon, I will delete this review. But not until then.

UPDATE:
They finally sent me the new charging handle. It took much too long to be considered good customer service, but at least I received it. I'm holding at the 3-star rating because I had to contact them so many times.
