Also sold my static back to coastfields in November 2025 told 28 working days for payment . Very sad to say as of February 2026 I have still not been paid , emails and calls are not being answered

NO WHERE TO PARK

Came here yesterday and no where to park . Spaces outside allocated caravan all gone . Trued to speak to manager No hope. Caravan is nice and clean but don’t expect to park near your caravan . Common sense would be paint numbers on spaces, would not return . I am disabled so needed to be near the caravan

If I could give a zero star rating I…

If I could give a zero star rating I would! We found a private buyer as although we asked for a valuation in August we never received one.
14th November we gave all details for seller and buyer and was told it would take 2 weeks for the sale to go through. After chasing them we finally received the paperwork on 18th December which was signed and returned by both parties. Payment was made to Coastfields by the buyer. Again after chasing, the buyer was told they own the caravan on 5th January. Its now the 8th January and we the sellers, still have no money! 4 calls today and each time someone will send an email to accounts, still awaiting my response! About to seek legal advice.

Shocking company

Shocking company. My parents have sold there caravan and were told they would receive the money within 28 days but they have heard nothing! It's now 8 days past the deadline and it's impossible to get in touch with anyone regarding the money. All they do is say they will pass on a message but nobody gets back to you. They have breached the contract by not paying the money from the sale! We have been trying for a couple of weeks to speak to somebody from the finance team but we haven't been able to get through to anybody that could help.

Don’t go with these
Why??

Holiday booked with a lodge and a hot tub.
Deposit paid and halfway paid.
August 2024 it’s booked for ( was ).

So now coastfields have removed the lodge from there 2024 site.
So what’s that to do with me?
Coastfields decided to inform hoseasons for whom rang my wife to say that what we signed for isn’t happening.
So we have to wait for a deposit back.
No chance from either to ask if we want to move.
No help so I’ve lost my holiday ( thanks guys) and cannot afford to book again so MY holiday is ruined.

So am waiting for the booking manager to call me & she’s away on holiday how nice.
So I think that this farce needs sorting.

Even the staff said I don’t know what’s going on,
I do you need a rocket up ya backside and sort me some sort of payment as your fault and you have ruined my holiday plans for next year & a weeks wage that now I’ve lost

A signed contract with you still stands so sort it

We decided to upgrade our static…

We decided to upgrade our static caravan. We are on northshore. Tris was our salesman. (He was standing in for the day) Although I felt we paid a bit to much. I cannot fault the professionalism of Tris every thing we asked for he followed it up and got it done. When we were settled he pop round to see if we were good .. This young man should be salesman of the year...A big thank you 😊 from a happy owner .

Omg have never gone to stay and some were so unorganised. Checking in was a joke and the insistence of placing a tight band on all members is silly they are tight and not nice when we go off sight. The caravan was filthy had to hoover first. There was a bad smell inside and dirt on the floor. The bathroom had loo roll on the floor and hadn’t been flushed and also the sink had a dirty glass in it and cigarette butts in the bin. It was the worse I’ve ever seen. We didn’t complain as what was the point. We have let them know since we left early ! No mattress protectors or pillows protectors, hair in bed and shower. The site itself is not very safe no security checking who’s driving in etc, it’s too noisy and the amount of time we saw police cars flying in and around the site. The staff seemed rude and the whole place feels unkept, I wouldn’t recommend staying there, we had people around us all smoking and not just cigarettes! We had children running around the vans and hit my car a few times, the pool is dirty some of the lifeguards sat near the back doors a lot of the time on their phones ! The cleaners that clean the vans need re training like I said I have never stayed anywhere that on day one I wanted to leave. The fridge was half full of mouldy food and the cutlery tray was awful, had to buy bleach to clean the place myself. The only positive I would say is the beach is so close. Would I stay again never! There is no excuse for this lack of basic cleaning !

had 2 near misses with electric scooters doing 20 to 25 mph was looking to buy caravan but seems to be no control on the grange leisure mablethorpe there are people with new caravans one that the sales team damaged been waiting nearly 2 years . there were around 10 electric scooters using site like racetrack. £74000 sale lost

Avoid this unprofessional company

Prior to booking a luxury lodge at Addlethorpe golf club back in January for the last 2 weeks of June I did extensive research (due to my wife being disabled) to ensure any holiday booked was suitable for our needs, I was impressed with the help I received from the on site manager who helped me to decide which lodge to book this left me with only one question that being the availability of wifi as my wife would be confined to the lodge for our 2 week stay and I needed to ensure high speed wi-fi to enable a couple of hours work per day, from my first contact I made this clear this would be a deal breaker if not in place, I was assured this would be up and running by the time our holiday arrived which at that point was many months away, with that in mind I went ahead and booked, when it came to the day I needed to make final payment to Hoseasons I specifically asked the bookings manager if the wifi was up and running she advised me that the switch on date had been confirmed for 16th April still over a month before our holiday so I went ahead lost my option to cancel and paid the final balance.


Imagine my disappointment when we arrived on site to find no wifi , the site did provide a 4g myfi unit but due to the poor 4G signal it was totally useless, I was further disappointed to see only a few days after paying my balance the price of the holiday reduced by £400 this is something I would have accepted without complaint If I had received that which I had booked.

Our issues were compounded from day one by the French doors not closing (we had to tie the handles together to secure the doors at nighttimes) this took 4 visits from trades men and 8 days to rectify , I requested a partial refund from the area manager he came back to me a day later with a derisory offer of £100 bar credit in the club bar we declined this as an insult and asked him to come back with something more sensible, I am still waiting for him to come back to me. Hence an official complaint was sent to Coastfield Ltd on our return home. after a 2 week wait my request was refused in full

We were offered on day 8 a move us to another location and had that been offered before we travelled along with an option to cancel altogether that would have been so much better. The then price of the alternate accommodation was less than we had paid but still no mention of a refund

In short If I had know the wifi would be such a problem I would never have booked this holiday, and Senior Management team knew this, I would not recommend any of this companies sites and would suggest you look elsewhere for your well earned holidays

They’re lucky to even get one star, if you’re thinking of going to her don’t! Rude staff and even worse manager don’t even know how he has the title. Awful food, awful hygiene, awful service overall will not be returning or recommending

Northshore hoilday site on a touring…

Northshore hoilday site on a touring pitch, been going about 8 years now but we've decided we won't be rushing back nomore we even left aday early..
Toilet and shower block smelly and need some tlc.
Arcade smells of urine that because you had to go though Arcade to get to the toilets.
The ladies toilets where dirty and smelly and as you walk past the men's to get to the ladies well that's another story, the disabled toilet was being used by anybody and the door was always left open.
50% of the staff look like they are down and outs they act like over grown teenagers looks like there clothes haven't been wash in weeks, there was one girl working behind bar her name was Becky and she put her middle finger up to some lads playing on the pool table. There where men smoking weed out side there was a bloke kept spitting on floor it was awful.
Then the live entertainment well what a bloody racket it's that loud you had to leave because you can't stand it.

I can't abide liars. It seems to be the norm these days!

I was looking to buy a caravan in July and came across a brand new Willerby at a good price. I got the keys at the end of July and after purchasing I found I had to pay not only an extortionate price for a veranda but also extra for slabs for it to go on. One week before the veranda was due to be put on I was told they couldn't do it because they didn't have the colour I had ordered (grey) but could put me one on in white. I had alreay waited for 6 weeks and told them I did not want a white veranda. I was told I would have to wait a few more weeks and when I said I would have my money back instead they miraculously found the correct colour. If I wanted a veranda out of season I would have ordered one!
I was told that the yearly site fee was £3,000-something, it turns out it is actually £4,105 due very soon and yet its a smaller plot. I will have to rent it out every single week for 8 months and hold back £128.28 a week just to pay it! I was told that the rent was a little higher (at the original price) because of the onsite facilities such as pub and swimming pool. This is NOT TRUE! My guests have to pay to use it - £50 or £80 depending on length of stay.
The brand new drains were blocked which they had to come out twice to.
I have other caravans on other sites and never had a problem before.
What starts off as a good experience turns out to be something that will send you into a rage at the very thought of how they tricked you by lying. They lie about everything and make out you are stupid. Well I am not stupid and I want to make sure no one else falls their utter BS! I work hard for my money just like everyone else and I am sick of people doing what amounts to scamming - check out the meaning of the word and that's what it amounts to.

Just got back from the holiday from…

Just got back from the holiday from hell the van was disgusting I have never been so embarrassed pee stains on couch carpet filthy smelt horrible no cleaning done the dirt everywhere was disgusting I am going to trading standards regarding this I have been going to North shore for 10yrs but I will never go back there they say they clean vans the one I was in looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years im suprised everyone didn't have covid because there was no sanitising done

Great way to spend your leisure time

I see a lot of negative reviews but in fairness although not perfect we have experienced polite and helpful staff at Grange Farm Mablethorpe and end the year with no complaints. At the end of the day Coastfields is a business and in my opinion a fair one, don't be put off it is what you make it by the way purchased through Tris who could not do enough for us

Disappointing Stay & Rude Staff at North Shore Holiday Park

Our recent stay at North Shore Holiday Park.

Stayed in caravan NS18

Reception staff - rude and make you feel like you’re bothering them.  There was one particular staff member who was lovely and helped book us into the swimming pool at Coastfields in Ingoldmells.  All other reception staff were rude and unhelpful, felt as though couldn’t approach for support or to report a problem.

Wifi - didn’t work the whole duration of the stay, this wasn’t fixed and we received no update after reporting the problem.

Ant infestation - woke up to this infestation following our second night stay.  Didn’t report this as was too afraid to go to reception due to attitude of reception staff.  Sorted Ants ourselves, not something we should have to do whilst on holiday.  I have pictures of this infestation if you need them.  Disappointing and disgusting.  

Panda toy - we left a Panda cuddly toy in the caravan, I think it may have fallen under the bed in one of the bedrooms, have contacted reception to ask if it has been found but have been told nothing has been handed in.  This is a 6 year olds favourite toy and cannot sleep without it.  No one has offered to pop to the caravan to have a look under the beds for this.  I wouldn’t expect it to have been found by any cleaning staff judging the state of the van when we entered it on the Monday.  

Cleanliness - this is something to be desired and we found bowls and forks with what looked like egg yolk stuck to them.  Had to wash all pots before use.

I would also like to add that we had problems with the electrics in our van and ignition on the cooker didn’t work which kept tripping the electrics which had to be reported!

Never had problems with this park before as stay many times, however, since being taken over by Coastfields, cleanliness and staff attitude has certainly sadly declined!

Emailed my complaint on our return over a week ago and still have received no acknowledgment receipt of my complaint, never mind a full response! Very poor!!!

North Shore Camp Site

North Shore Camp Site, Elmhurst Road, Skegness.
This Camp site is in a great location for easy walking distance to Skegness and we have been many times previously but the Disgusting Toilet Facilities have kept us away. I have commented on facilities here before but nothing seems to have changed even though they have had ample opportunity during COVID 19 shutdown.
Toilets/Showers are Draconian, a sink tap was Broken for 3 years in a row, little or no hooks behind shower doors so nowhere to hang clothes so they get wet, no heating whatsoever, Smell from Toilets fills every inch of building, to sum up, Dirty, Cold, Wet, Smelly and very outdated. NO EXCUSES, SIMPLY PROFIT OVER CLIENTS WELFARE AND COMFORT SEEMS MORE IMPORTANT WITH THE OWNERS OF THIS SITE.
