⚠️ **SCAM ALERT – STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY**
This company is completely dishonest. They lure customers in with a **$200 Costco gift card offer**, but it’s nothing but a trick.
I followed up multiple times, and every single time they told me to “wait 3 months.” Clearly, this is just a tactic to keep you locked in so they can earn their commission from electricity and gas providers.
Once the 3 months passed, they changed their story and said **Costco is responsible for issuing the gift card** — which is absolutely false. Costco also same like this company , and they will NOT issue any gift card.
This is pure misleading advertising and a waste of time. Customer service is useless once they get what they want.

Attempted to use this service to connect utilities at a new tenancy. There is no "compare" at all - it claimed that the only electricity provider in my new apartment was Origin, a significantly more expensive provider (>$400p.a.) than several alternatives that are in fact available in the building. They also did not advise the gas or water providers of my move in date as claimed, requiring me to organise these connections myself anyway. They were a complete waste of time, feedback which was given to the real estate agency that first recommended them.

Do not use - this company on sold personal data and I received harassing phone calls for the last two years from fake call centres who bought my data

My name is Paul I signed up through Costco service for my internet last year and it says that it takes two three months before I get my Costco shop card what it's been like 12 months and I'm still waiting for it I'm not happy at all it is a scam Costco shop cards should go out to you automatically the worst thingies are work for Costco as well so I'm really not happy because Costco is supposed to be taking care of the employees and their members and really they are not

The customer service attendant was down right rude and tried very hard to act like a smart a@#. He was consistently trying to push us with expensive deals by saying they are recommended companies despite me asking for the most economical connection for the area. Will not be using them again.

I was apprehensive about contacting Compare and Connect but my experience exceeded my expectations. The person I spoke to was very professional and helpful and made it so easy. I had my gas account details in front of me as well as the information of my new plan. I had also done some quick research before calling. I was able to check his recommendations against my current fees and charges. This was so much more preferable than calling individual energy suppliers.
One call and in minutes I was switched…
One call and in minutes I was switched over to a new gas and electricity supplier and Internet provider. Whilst we were on the call I was checking out the details on th e suppliers webpage. Everything I was told matched the webpages. Saved me a lot of calls and fact checking.

I cannot recommend Compare and Connect any higher. Easy to deal with, amazing customer service, amazing comparison - we saved over $400 for our electricity bill!!!

There is no comparing going on here…
There is no comparing going on there they only connect electricity with Origin. The rates they offered me were well above market rates, I was able to connect directly with a different electricity provider at well below market rates.
Avoid these scumbags at all costs
We had the misfortune of changing providers with them about a year ago. Low and behold, after we signed up and the cooldown period was over, our gas price nearly tripled.
It took months of arguing, this lot were of absolutely no help but we finally managed to get the price down a bit on the outstanding bills and change back to our old provider.
Fast forward to now, and we still get AT LEAST 3-5 calls a week from them, including messages demanding we answer when they call us. If you speak to them they just talk over you with their script, and hang up when you ask to be removed from the system.
This company needs to be closed down for dishonest business practices and nothing short of harrasment.
