Really useful teaching: concise, intelligent, explained extremely well with useful tips and tricks. Phillip is able to explain any concept perfectly with useful examples and ways of remembering things. I wish my medical degree was taught like this. This is some of the best teaching I've ever been to. Would recommend to everyone!

A very good learning experience. Dr Philip cockrell was very experienced and made the concepts very easy to understand. I would definitely recommend more people to try the course and I'm sure anyone would benifit from the course to clear Par 1 and 2.

This is the second time I attended Dr Cockrell's course and both the times it was absolutely amazinggggg. I honestly cannot thank you enough. Having graduated from medical school 3 years ago, I had forgotten even the basics and this course helped me get grasp of things. Dr Cockrell literally simplified everything in his teaching and gave us key words to know for the exam which was extremely helpful. I would highly highly recommend this course to anyone sitting MRCP part 1 and part 2.

An exceptionally well-delivered, precise and informative weekend session. Very impressed by Dr. Cockrell's ability to extract the high-yield learning points and deliver teaching in a way that is both engaging, charismatic and coherent at a pace that is manageable. I found it especially useful revisiting topics at regular intervals as the course went on and will be definitely recommending it to others.

I found the course very useful especially near to exam as it consolidates good range of topics across a few specialties. Would definitely recommend for part 1 specifically. Dr Cockrell's way of teaching and explaining pathophysiology is precise and the content was exam focused.

Very well compiled information and presented in a very interesting manner. Made me understand difficult topics easily. Would have been great if more topics were covered but I understand that it needs more time. Would love to attend longer courses or equally spaced out classes over multiple weekends.

A brilliant course. Dr Cockrell has a unique style of explaining concepts in a simplified way and then reinforcing these concepts through repetition alongside useful aide memoirs. He also covers a wide range of difficult topics over the weekend. Definitely recommend!

Dr Cockrell’s enthusiasm and clear, focussed delivery made the volume of content both manageable and enjoyable. It was a very good course and I’ll be recommending it to anyone else studying for MRCP. I recently attended the 2-day Concise MRCP course and found it extremely useful for MRCP preparation. The course was very well organised, high-yield, and focused specifically on important exam topics. The teaching style was clear, engaging, and easy to follow, with difficult concepts explained in a simple and memorable way.

What I found most valuable was the emphasis on exam technique, pattern recognition, and clinically relevant points that frequently appear in MRCP exams. The concise notes and rapid revision approach made it ideal for consolidating knowledge in a short time.

Dr Cockrell is knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly experienced in MRCP teaching. I left the course feeling more confident, motivated, and much clearer about how to approach the exam effectively.

The course was really well organised and the food was excellent, with regular breaks for tea, coffee, and snacks, all provided.

The course covers an impressive amount of ground in a short time frame, with a succinct summary at the end of each day.

I genuinely cannot recommend this course enough and it was instrumental in helping pass Part 1.

Interactive sessions and very useful discussions that are relevant to exams

The course was very helpful. Dr Cockrell is a keen and passionate teacher. He was keen to answer all our questions and has in-depth knowledge about the nitties and grities of MRCP.
Would be nice if Dr cockrell could also take courses for MRCP part 2.
The only thing I would say could be improved is the location (cramped space for seating).
