Great course with an emphasis on understanding basic concepts which assists with overall understanding of pathophysiological processes. Taught very well and structurally with easy to remember examples and analogies, relevant material for MRCP! Thank you to both Dr. Cockrell and Dr. Chahal for such a very well run course!

Wow what a weekend. Despite this being a really intense revision course over just two days, I found this course so engaging and so useful. Every concept taught was one that I had been poorly taught and had never fully understood from vasculitis to haemolytic anaemias and renal tubular acidosis. I came away with a greater understanding and found myself with renewed enthusiasm for medicine. This course really highlighted the art of diagnosing based on signs and symptoms and emphasised how great having a true understanding and correct knowledge is. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently attended an MRCP course led by Dr. Cockrell, and it was a fantastic experience. Dr. Cockrell’s expertise and engaging teaching style made complex topics much more accessible and understandable. The course was well-structured, providing in-depth explanations, practical tips. Not only did it help me prepare for the MRCP, but it also enriched my clinical knowledge and proved highly relevant to my daily practice. I left feeling much more confident and equipped for real-world scenarios. Highly recommended!

Dr Cockrell made difficult concepts look easier by his outstanding teaching skills and efforts.

He is a master trainer and would want to have a series of whole medicine lectures from him to learn.

Would have enjoyed more if i ave got 100 days enough of 2 only.

Whilst this course is not fully comprehensive, it will take the topics that were poorly taught in medical school, and explain it in a way that deepens your understanding. The course covered certain topics from rheumatology, renal, endocrine, haematology and a bit of neurology. I attended the course a week before my exam, at which point I had already revised the topics being taught and I could already answer questions on the topic correctly. Despite this I did not fully understand the deeper concepts. Dr Cockerell explained these concepts so clearly in his teaching style. The course is very well taught, and engages you fully for the full 2 days. He makes things ‘click’ into place and whilst the course was not that useful so late into my revision, I think overall I have gained deeper knowledge that will shape my future practice as a doctor. Thank you!

Good lectures on important subjects. Would benefit from more lectures and extend the number of topics.

Really exceeded expectations. Excellent teacher (far better than all my weekly IMT lectures combined). Key concepts are mapped out in an interactive and stimulating way. Memory tools are used well to help future recall. I would highly recomend this course, especially if youve had difficulty in revising or getting started as it covers a lot of key MRCP content. As somone with ADHD I was worried that I would find an MRCP course difficult to engage with or learn from, I was pleasantly suprised as the teacher is so good that even I was able to concentrate.

One of my colleagues told me about this course. I was intrigued because I was studying for MRCP 1 exam and he gave me good reviews about this course. And I can say now that it was absolutely worth coming from far away to attend this course! Thank you so much! You inspired me to learn material in a different way and your passion is contagious:) You are a very good teacher and your teaching style is something we all should implement into our practice. Fingers-crossed that I would pass the exam.

Fantastic, well organised course with incredible teaching which really focuses on creatively explaining some of the most challenging core concepts in the MRCP. I did this course to kick-start my revision and give me the background understanding - it's been perfect for this and really inspiring! Thank you! (ps it was lovely that the lunches were so healthy and from a local cafe - thank you for these thoughtful touches)

Excellent course with complex ideas simplified so they can be understood and applied to the rest of medicine. Great exam tips. Also enjoyed that the lectures also looked at learning to be a better Physician rather than just passing the exam.

Attended the course to have a better insight to MRCP exam but Dr Cockrell was absolutely great with his teaching. Not only it helped understand the complex topics but gave clear concepts for a better clinical practice as well.
Highly recommended for any medic.

Concise and brief course for MRCP revision. Book contain other topics not covered on both days for self study.

I really want to say that this course was exceptional. The content was comprehensive and well-organized, covering a wide range of topics in the space of 2days ,Dr.cockrell was highly knowledgeable and experienced, providing valuable insights and practical examples on the exam , Overall, I highly recommend this medical course to anyone looking to have their exam done with in a couple of months.
My recommendation for even a better course is if it could be a couple of days longer so we can cover more material and maybe access to online videos of the lectures so we can go back and watch them to refresh our memory

Not for the faint-hearted - this is a very intensive course over a single weekend. Not only is it informative, but Dr Cockrell is enthusiastic about inspiring the next generation of medics to improve understanding of medical topics so they can do their best work in clinical practice. Best suited to practising junior doctors who have built a solid foundation in their knowledge of Clinical Medicine at MRCP level.

This course was incredibly good! Dr Cockrell's style of teaching is amazing on a different level. He turns all the topics into key concepts, presents them in a diagram fashion, and teaches you how to remember and memorize all the information. So at the end of the day, you only need to learn the diagram and the rest will come automatically. He constantly recaps the old sets of mini-lectures each time you learn a new set of mini-lectures. He provides really useful explanations for each key point and links the key information to stories that you can easily remember. Active recall will be surprisingly good after this MRCP course!
