I had a brilliant experience with Console Central. The service was excellent from start to finish, communication was clear, and everything was handled professionally. I was really impressed that I was even given an upgraded console to a newer version, which went above and beyond what I expected. The console arrived in great condition and works perfectly. I’d definitely recommend Console Central to anyone looking for a reliable place to buy from. Great service, great value, and a company that clearly looks after its customers.

SCAM!!

SCAM!!! SCAM!!!! SCAM!!!

STAY CLEAR FROM THIS WEBPAGE:

I have placed an order to buy one original Nintendo switch charger, to my surprise I had to buy three to be eligible for delivery.

I went ahead, placed the order for three refurbished chargers as they only sell refurbished. I've paid £59.97 and the order never got dispatched.

Luckily I've paid using my visa debit card so I was able to get my money back straight away once I've opened a claim against this scam website.

I've tried emailing them to ask for tracking information, I've received an automated email response stating someone would get in touch within 24hours. I've waited one week and no one responded until my bank recalled the payment.

Within 6 hours of the payment recall I've had an email from someone by the name of "Ash" claiming to be the director of Central Console.

They've stated; WE CAN SEE THAT YOU HAVE OPENED A CHARGE BACK FOR THIS TRANSACTION.
CAN WE ASSIST IN ANYWAY?

Update: I emailed sales@consolecentral on 11th February 2026 asking for tracking information.
I have received an automated response on the same day and nothing else until I recalled my money. This was what I've received:

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

I’d like to clarify what actually happened here, as several aspects of your review are not accurate or reflective of events.

Your order was placed on 8/2/26 and dispatched from our facility on 9/2/26 via Royal Mail 2nd Class Small Parcel.
I can find no record of any emails or phone calls from you requesting tracking information or assistance prior to a chargeback being raised.

You mention having to purchase multiple items to qualify for delivery. Our delivery pricing and thresholds are clearly shown before checkout, and you chose to proceed on that basis.

On 18/2/26, a chargeback was raised against this order and received by our office. Given that the order had already been dispatched and no prior contact had been made with us, this action was extremely premature.

As soon as the chargeback appeared, I contacted you directly to ask whether I could assist.
Your response on 19/2/26 was: “Not at this time. Thank you.”

Chargebacks are intended as a last-resort banking remedy once a merchant has failed to engage. In this case, we were available and actively attempting to assist; conversely, you resisted my attempt to resolve this matter with you directly.

Based on your response and the lack of engagement, we accepted the chargeback in full to bring the matter to a prompt and straightforward close.

Given the above, it is strongly disputed that the term “scam” is accurate or justified. Nothing in this transaction involved deception, refusal to engage, or an attempt to withhold funds. This matter could have been resolved quickly and simply with a direct email or phone call.

If you believe something has been misunderstood or would like to discuss this further, I remain happy to help, as I was when I contacted you previously in an attempt to resolve the matter.

Following your update, I have carried out a full search across our global sales and support mailboxes. The only email correspondence of this nature sent to you was the automated response generated on 19/2/26, which was triggered by your reply to my message of 18/2/26 asking whether I could assist following the chargeback.

No prior email requesting tracking information or assistance was received before the chargeback was raised.

Brilliant customer service from Ash and…

Brilliant customer service from Ash and the team. They noticed i'd purchased a turquoise Nintendo Switch Lite, and offered me the Animal Crossing branded one as a gesture of goodwill.
Delivery is a little longer than some places, but that is to be expected from a smaller company. We've all been spoiled by the one-day delivery juggernaut that is Amazon. I was kept up-to-date at every stage, and the goods arrived in immaculate condition.

Absolutely will be using them again.

Afford at all costs

Do not buy from theses ordered on 14th and still not received it rang and emailed loads and kept saying was with DHL but wouldn't give tracking details had to go through bank to get a refund from them

Absolutely terrible, my dad ordered a xbox series s for me 3 business days ago and it still hasn't arrived, they said it would be here by Monday 2 pm and it's currently Monday 4:18 pm and no answer from all of our attempts to reach your incompetent staff, this is disgraceful DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

I have checked into this matter so that I may respond to your review.

I can see that you ordered a Nintendo Switch product on Sunday 2nd June @ 7.16PM.

I can see that DHL delivered your item three days later on June the 5th - two working days after it was dispatched, which was the first working day after you ordered. This was the very first opportunity we would have had to dispatch this. The product was in your possession three days after ordering.

There is no box shown on the product listing, nor is it suggested anywhere that this product comes in it's original box.

I am unsure, given the above, if you left this review for the correct company.

Awful service

Awful service, waited over a week for my sons easter present and its still not even been dispatched on the 5th of April, had to ask for a refund with a very upset little boy!!!
They also lie when they get a bad review.
Disgusting

Thankyou for your review. I have had the opportunity to look into this matter and review all communications.

I regret your dissatisfaction, but it’s important to address the facts. Your order was placed after business hours on Thursday, March 28th, just before the Good Friday (29th March) and Easter Monday (1st April) bank holidays, during which both our facility and our couriers were closed.

Despite our clear communication that dispatch before Easter was not possible, you repeatedly demanded next-day delivery. Whilst we regularly go above and beyond for our customers, we cannot dispatch products during bank holidays when our facility and our shipping partners are closed for business.

When it became clear that your demands were not being met, you opened a dispute for a refund while still insisting on receiving the product. This behaviour is not only unreasonable but it is also dishonest.

Given the above circumstances, we issued a refund and it appears that your response to this was to leave this retaliatory review.

Whilst I always hope to welcome back an unhappy customer and turn a negative experience into a positive one, it seems that our services may not align with your expectations. Therefore, I would politely recommend considering other retailers for your future purchases.
