I kept seeing Cool Hog Scratchings all over TikTok, so being from the Black Country I thought I'd make the trip and give them a try. I bought a 500g bag for £16 and, after eating around half,... Voir plus
No problem whatsoever from ordering to delivery, I ordered the maple and the garlic, both are superb, flavoured in my opinion perfectly,and the crunch is just right, not to hard as I'm getting on now... Voir plus
Received two 500g bags of original, really disappointed, small pieces not particularly crunchy if anything a bit stale tasting. Even the dog left them !! Not for me.

Great range of flavours and a good quality product. Love the little sample tubs and the fact that the packaging is all resealable to help keep things fresh... Not that they lasted that long!

This batch of Salt 'n Vinegar pork scratchings were by far better than all the previous ones I had ordered. The salt and vinegar spice was distributed evenly and all the pieces are big enough throughout in all the packs, whereas before I've had a lot of pork scratching crumbs in the last quarter of the packs. So I would say there has been a huge improvement!

First class service from start to finish. The website was easy to navigate around and ordering was clear and straightforward
Postage was free and the items came within a few days.
The pork scratchings were gorgeous, just the right amount of crunch and soft fat, we ordered the optional triple seasoning so they were extra tasty, i love a salty scrathing and these were perfect.
I would definitely recommend

I only ordered them a couple of days ago, they came this morning. I don't usually eat pork scratchins but had some of my mates the other week. I have only had the salt and vinegar ones so far and they are amazing. Looking forward to trying the curry and the bacon ones. I will be ordering more next month.

Long wait and expensive…
Long wait for such an expensive delivery! Scratchings were okay but for £18 for 500g I will not be ordering again. I ordered on a Thursday evening and received the product the following Wednesday. Packing was fine, taste was fine but far to expensive for what it is.

Slow postage but overall good
Took a week to pack and despatch but once shipment notification was received it arrived the next day.
In terms of the scratchings themselves they are cooked to a high standard, with shop bought scratchings you play the tooth break lottery but every one had a lovely blend of crunch without being too puffy or far too hard.
I bought the original, sweet chilli and maple flavoured. Out of the bags they were a little on the side of over-seasoned for my taste despite not selecting the option for more. I appreciate you need to cater to a broad range of palates and my tastes may differ but I feel that less is more in this case. Once I’d shook off the excess seasoning dust with a seive they were delicious.

Really pleased you rated the cook on them, “tooth break lottery” is exactly what we try to avoid 😅 Consistent crunch without being rock solid is the goal.
On seasoning, that’s genuinely helpful feedback. We do season to suit most palates, but you’re absolutely right, less can be more for some people. We’ll feed that back internally. And fair play for the sieve method… that’s commitment to the cause 😂

The order for the pork scratchings was completed quickly. The flavour and quality of the crackling was very good. No soft or chewy bits, none with stray hairs. All very good. An enjoyable experience and a highly recommended product.

Worth the date

Scratchings and seasoning
The scratchings are very good quality and the flavours are great but the salt and vinegar is very overpowering due to the amount used. The separate seasoning is also great but disappointed that it didn’t come in a jar/shaker as pictured in the website but instead in a plastic tub which makes sprinkling over food more difficult.
