We started life in a small pork butcher and pie shop on Market Street, Scarborough in 1885. As we’ve expanded over the years, we’ve continued to work with local suppliers where we can, focusing on the product our customers love, along with some local favourites. We now have nearly 160 Shops across the North East, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and Nottinghamshire. We might be bigger, but our ethos has stayed the same, baking out of our Scarborough and Durham Bakeries. We continue to bake with care our handcrafted treats, freshly made sandwiches and our own recipe sausages. Our incredible team continues to serve their local community, carefully balancing crafting new and exciting products alongside our customer favourites.

Advertise food on Justeat then cancel your order. Just eat have the option to show food not available why not use it idiots.

Clown show that picks idiots for staff

Clown show that picks idiots for staff

Cant cook sausages they well pink. The cancel morning deliveries cos they are lazy. Prices seen ok until you realise its so cheap they have no service or decent staff. Just dirty grubby nose pickers who don't wash their hands, certainly have no food hygiene standards. Enjoy your food poisoning and parasites

Really dissapointed

Order via Just Eat yesterday to your Scartho branch and waited nearly 2 hours before cancelling my order. I was given no updates on the app other than 'we accepted your order' and by the time I ended up cancelling at nearly 12o'clock breakfast had stopped serving anyway. I never never use the Scartho store again since the workers are incapable of making food and packaging it up in a timely manner.

Lovely Cake

I am a regular customer at Cooplands…

I am a regular customer at Cooplands Wickersley Rotherham ,
The staff are so rude and very uncaring ,
There is one who barks at you she screamed at the top of her voice said "I will serve you in a bit I have to wash my hands I have been handling raw meat " extremely rudely ,
Good thing is at least she is washing her hands handling food !
I went this Morning both assistants had there back to me I was waiting for about 3 minutes even coughed and rattled my keys ,, nothing ! wont be going back , will have to go back to Greggs at least staff are nice and welcoming !

Walked into Cooplands thinking I’d get…

Walked into Cooplands thinking I’d get a quick bite and a smile. Instead I got attitude baked hotter than the ovens. Staff were so rude and two-faced it felt like I was the inconvenience. Honestly, the homeless guy outside the shop — clearly on crack — could have served me better. At least he doesn’t pretend to like you while handing over a stale steak bake.

Awful sausage roll

Hands down the worst sausage roll i have ever had. Purchased at 8am, stone cold, dry and tasteless. Spat out the bite i had taken and threw the whole lot in the bin. Woman serving obviously did not want to be working.
Such a shame as my colleagues rave about Cooplands but on this occasion it was a big disappointment.

Better than Greggs

Friendly staff, good service. Sandwiches are as good as (if not better than) Greggs. Peach Melbas are better than Greggs and the staff even offer to put them in a box - unlike Greggs who stick them in a paper bag so they're smashed by the time you take them home/work.

Disappointed service. I ordered a birthday cake for my…

I ordered a birthday cake for my husbands 70th birthday on 9th October for his party on 18th October. I received confirmation and was advised to collect my cake between 9am and 4pm. I was very busy trying to get everything done and went along to my local shop to collect my cake at around 2pm. The cake had not been delivered to the store and I was so disappointed and was so upset. The manager was lovely and apologised but she couldn’t help me because they have no back up cakes in store. She tried to compensate me by giving me some cream cakes. I have a party to go to tonight for a milestone birthday with a couple of miserable supermarket cakes. My husband wants to cancel the party. He is very upset. Cooplands you need to check your orders and deliver them to the shops on time.

We completely understand how upsetting this must have been, especially for such an important milestone. You had ordered and received confirmation in advance, so we’re incredibly sorry that your cake wasn’t there for you to collect as expected.

While we appreciate our shop manager doing what she could to help on the day, we understand this couldn’t make up for the disappointment of not having the cake you had planned for your husband’s celebration.
