Cork and Canvas Avis 

The problem I had was the ‘teacher’ didn’t actually go through the steps. She didn’t tell us much, she just kept painting herself…considering it’s a class , she should have been telling us each step..

Amazing experience! We booked a paint your inner queen class with a drag Queen host for my sisters hen party & couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The ladies were so helpful & everything was all set up ready when we arrived. Tiff our drag queen was fabulous! Would definitely recommend!

We all had a brilliant afternoon celebrating our friends Hen do recently. Such a fun and unique experience that a lot of us had never done before. No matter your ability it was a really enjoyable experience and Emily helped along the way.

Would definitely recommend for any group events and would love to do it again! ☺️

Wow what an amazing afternoon we had for our friends hen do. Every fine detail had been thought of from start to finish. Emily who runs it was really fun & engaging and helped everyone so it didnt matter how good you were at painting. Music was on, food & atmosphere was great. Can’t wait to do another !

Such a fab group event we recently went to for a Hen party - a room full of mixed ages but such an enjoyable activity for all.

Regardless of the skill set, Emily who ran the event made everyone feel so at ease and made the afternoon so much fun. She was extremely helpful and made painting easy without any pressure.

We did this paint and sip as part of my hen do and it was absolutely perfect! Such a fun, relaxed way to celebrate — lots of laughs, creativity, and prosecco flowing. Emily was brilliant and kept the whole group engaged, even with varying skill levels, and everything was so well organised. It was the ideal mix of chilled and social, and we all loved having a painting to take home as a keepsake from the day. I couldn’t recommend it more for a hen do or group celebration!

When my original party venue went into liquidation just two and a half weeks before my 30th birthday, I was in a panic trying to find a new idea for a celebration with 22 guests. After shopping around for the best price and experience, Cork and Canvas stood out—not only were they affordable, but their booking process was by far the most professional.

We chose the fish theme, and Emily was absolutely fantastic. She guided us through the process, teaching us how to sketch either a pre-existing design or create our own, and shared tips and tricks along the way. Emily then demonstrated painting techniques, including beautiful water gradients, and gave personalised advice to each of us.
Her friendliness and enthusiasm made the day unforgettable—she took group photos, kept us stocked with paint, encouraged us constantly, and even shared stories from her teaching days. Over half of us swore we couldn’t draw, yet there wasn’t a single terrible fish in sight! That’s all down to Emily making us feel comfortable and confident.
We were even given bags to take our masterpieces home, which was a lifesaver for guests travelling as far as Cardiff. Since the party, I’ve had countless messages saying it was “a day to remember” and that some guests are now considering taking up painting as a hobby.

Honestly, I’m so glad my original venue fell through because this experience was incredible and truly unique. Thank you, Emily, you made my 30th birthday one for the history books! We all wish we’d had an art teacher like you at school. ❤️

Lovely fun sip and paint class. Run by a lovely friendly woman- so helpful. We went as a couple but it was lovely talking and interacting with others! Very pleasant atmosphere and the right balance of having creativity to do your own thing, and having guidance and support if needed.

Purchased a gift card over a month ago. Never received it. Have tried to contact the company via email twice, messenger, phone, LinkedIn and still no response. This was bought as a 50th birthday present. Currently pursuing recovery of payment via my bank.

Emily was fantastic. It was the best idea for a corporate event. Everybody had an amazing time. Couldn't recommend her enough.

Cork & Canvas is a truly unique experience. The attentiveness and care is an undeniable win for Emily. Having gone a few times I have always had the opportunity to learn art in a new and fun ways, whilst having a drink or two with friends.
C&C is an activity that I would definitely recommend for any events, parties or just a fun day out!

Its a SCAM.. i got tickets to one of the events and in the morning of the event they emailed me saying its been cancelled and didn’t even say anything about giving us refunds for the tickets or setting up a new date for the event. Its been one month and they won’t answer any of my dms or emails. Still can’t believe i got scammed.

Took my sister and mum to a Cork and Canvas event, we had a great time. Suitable for all ages, great venue and value for money. Will definitely be going again!

What a fantastic experience. Fun with friends and in a different environment. Loved the opportunity to paint with acrylics and learning some new skills whilst socialising. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely shocking scam of a business who promise customers a fantastic experience to only con them out of money. DO NOT trust this scam artist (pardon the pun).

Excellent event, great venue, well organised and great fun.
