Counselling Directory Avis 

I’ve been in practice for 3 months, and signed up with Counselling Directory, but hadn’t made the most of it. I called for advice about how best to promote my practice, and what resources Counselling Directory offered.

It was such a helpful conversation, and I felt supported and positive. There is a lot of support available and the site is easy to navigate once you know what to look for. I’d say it’s definitely worth a call to the team - to find out how much help there actually is for talking therapists with promotion & peer support.

The Counselling Directory is inviting and easy to navigate. It can often be a hard step to admit we need help and finding the directory makes it easy to search for therapists from the privacy of your own home. It is easy to get in touch with individual health professionals, find out more about their background and the work they offer by being directed to the therapists personal websites. Contacting counsellors/therapists is simple as each individual entry allows you to get in touch with your chosen practitioner. It's simple and quick.

A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone at the Counselling Directory team for the help and support they've given to me for my therapy business over the past number of weeks. After working on so many press requests and publishing articles for Counselling Directory, I have become more confident with writing about therapy content which includes recently publishing on my own blog for my website. This has helped me a lot and I am now getting more client work from my Counselling Directory profile! Being with the Counselling Directory means more than just a profile listing on an established therapy website. They really do care about what I do. I didn't care for trustpilot's presumption that reviewers' experiences would be "great" and its interest only in what companies are doing well. Since the company in question is English perhaps the questioner should learn to accept English spelling.

As for my experience with Counselling Directory itself, apart from their site's rejection of non-UK phone numbers the experience was exemplary from start to finish. It even responded promptly to those whose evaluation was unfavourable.

A really supportive service so far in creating my listing. Comprehensive and easy to use.

This site provides a really easy way to find a counsellor, with really helpful filters. One thing I would like to be able to do is contact a few counsellors simultaneously with the same enquiry. In my experience, it can take a while to find the right person due to various factors, including lack of availability, lack of possible meeting times, finding out the therapist isn't quite right after an initial consultation, misleading listings (e.g. more expensive than expected) etc.
