MOHAMMED SIRTAJ Was was very helpful and knowledgeable

I recently received an email dated 25/09/2026 stating that a formal complaint had been submitted on my behalf under a different reference number.

I find this extremely confusing and frustrating because I had already paid all three of Courmacs’ invoices in May 2026. I did not knowingly seek to have Courmacs handle these matters in the first place and, like many others, I feel I was led into the arrangement without fully understanding what I was getting into.

I subsequently made it clear that I wanted to exit and that I no longer wanted Courmacs acting on my behalf. I paid the three invoices that were requested, and I then received confirmation from Courmacs that all of my cases had been closed.

So why am I still being contacted months later, and why has another reference number apparently been created with a formal complaint submitted on my behalf?

I have not authorised Courmacs to continue acting for me or to submit anything further on my behalf. This is causing me unnecessary stress, particularly when I have already paid what was requested and received confirmation that my cases were closed.

I am now seeking a clear explanation as to why I am still being contacted and exactly what this new reference relates to. If this is not resolved, I will be making a formal complaint.

Looking at other reviews, it appears that I am not the only person who has experienced issues with continued contact after wanting to exit. Once someone has made it clear that they no longer want you acting on their behalf and has received confirmation that their cases are closed, that decision should be respected.
