Medical Issues
Once I grasped the fact that the details of current medical issues was one cost and the level of cover was a different cost then the process of organising travel insurance was generally clear.
It did take me a couple of attempts to record medical issues and I'm not 100% sure how I did it, but I got there in the end. Probably more to do with my computer skills than your system.

Absolute SCAM. I went on the covered2 go website. I filled in the usual screens about my trip. Was then directed onto the medical screening. I paid £36 and thought I had bought my travel insurance.
On reading the 'confirmation' email complete with a POLICY no I learned that I had not bought a travel insurance policy I had bought rather a 'medical endorsement'.
I phoned up - waited 20 mins before the call was answered to hear that YES despite wanting to buy travel insurance i had indeed bought a 'medical endorsement' - for the price of a policy.
The Covered2Go website is completely Not user friendly. The call handler acknowledged that many people end up with this problem.... and yet the company do not fix it . Fortunately I was able to cancel this medical endorsement - but what a waste of everyone's time. AVOID. AVOID AVOID

On Step 3 of the online quotation process, information is provided explaining that medical screening is a separate part of the application and that the medical declaration premium is separate from the travel insurance premium. As a result of this, the medical declaration will also provide you with a policy number confirming this cover.
We are pleased that the medical screening provider was able to assist with cancelling your medical endorsement. We take all customer feedback seriously and regularly review comments about our online journey to help us identify areas for improvement.

Getting insurance with a pre existing condition
I have pre existing condition which is locally advanced prostate cancer and the online screening was an excellent tool to use and after a few minutes I was accepted and given insurance.
What's more the quality of cover and value for money were both excellent.
