The company gets back to you very quickly and is very helpful. I own 3 vests and hawk shields for my dogs. They can be a little annoying to get perfectly fitted to each one but once they are they are very simple to put on. May consider adding a second strap around the waist area to keep the vest better centered/upright. Perhaps that would annoy the dog. Not sure. Hope to never have to test out one of these vests but very happy I own them and doing my best to keep my dogs safe.

We love our Coyote Vest!!! Twice my small dog Benji has been mauled by large stray dogs while out walking and amazingly survived but it left him seriously hurting and myself bitten as well. When I saw the Coyote Vest on youtube I immediately ordered one. The spikes make complete sense to me as does the puncture proof material as a way to prevent serious injury. Benji has been wearing the vest for about a month as I write this and comfortably moves and lounges around in it. We ordered the teal vest with Velcro and it’s easy to put on and take off. The vest fits perfectly and has amazingly sharp styling with a nice reflective, diagonal stripe on the side. He looks terrific in it and people constantly comment on how they love it. This is a quality product we use that I recommend to anyone who has a small dog they cherish. We received our vest quickly and the customer service is excellent. While Benji hasn’t had any run ins with any big dogs and hopefully won’t, he has had a confrontation with a cat who repeatedly scratched at him without leaving a mark even on his vest. So, it’s not just coyote proof, it’s cat proof.

Am very happy with the spiked black leather collar I got for my chihuahua. Great quality! Very well made! It looks way much better than in the picture.

The best protection I can give to my chihuahua. I would recommend this to anyone who has a dog they allow to walk off leash or that you let out in your fenced in yard. This coyote/hawk vest gives me enough time to get to my dog if I hear or see him yelp. I also walk with a shillelagh with a point on one end.

I bought the coyote vest. It is very well made, high quality, and appears it would be very protective. The large was too big and the medium too small, but he is a 24 pound dachshund mix and that's a difficult body size to fit with the small size, long back and big chest.

Great product but expensive! I was a little taken aback at the price, but after receiving the product and actually feeling the tough vest material, I'm not sure I could argue the pricing. I could only afford 1 for now, and there are 4 dogs total in our family. I ended up buying one for the dog that would probably be the easiest target of the 4 (and that primarily lives in a coyote infested area). The ordering and payment process were easy. Shipping was reliable and the (inside) packaging was a nice touch. Wish there would be some ordering incentives/discounts for this product!

The collar is far too thin. It needs to be thicker to help protect more of the neck. I’m only keeping it because some small protection is better than one at all. Also - not water proof so apparently they assume your dog will never be walked in the rain or in the snow.
