Have used VWFS many times over the years for various VAG cars. Always found them to be efficient and very easy to deal with. Even with a return of car on PCH the process as smooth and very fair on delap costs . Obtaining, maintaining and settling finance has always been seamless and painless.

**UPDATE 14 July 2026** Having still received nothing from VWFS as of today, I spoke to VWFS on the phone. Unable to help by phone and no complaints handler has yet been assigned (after over 4 months).
**UPDATE 10 July 2026** Despite assurances on 02 July 2026 in the comment below, still nothing from VWFS. Original email was sent to them on the 08 March 2026 after being unable to resolve it via the dealer.
I have an Audi Q6 e-tron supplied through Audi Financial Services / Volkswagen Financial Services. Unfortunately, the vehicle has had repeated faults since shortly after delivery, including issues with the boot lid, alarm behaviour, steering warnings, brake / tail light behaviour and other software-related problems.
The vehicle has been back to Audi several times. A software update was carried out, but the issues were not permanently resolved. The dealer has now confirmed there is a fault, after almost seven months of reported issues. The vehicle is now booked back in for further investigation in August, which will be close to a year after receiving the vehicle.
My concern with VWFS is not that the vehicle developed a fault - faults can happen. My concern is the complete lack of meaningful support or ownership. I raised a formal complaint with VWFS in March 2026 after being unable to find a resolution with the dealer/Audi UK up to that point (vehicle delivered in early Q4 2025). They acknowledged the complaint, then after eight weeks said they still could not provide a final response. Since then, I have still not received a substantive response or clear resolution.
The dealer and Audi UK both tell me I need to speak to VWFS to resolve the problem. VWFS, however, have not provided a meaningful response.
I am expected to continue paying in full for a vehicle that does not work properly and, in my experience, never has, while dealing with repeated garage visits and long waits for courtesy car availability.
Overall, the experience has been incredibly poor. I expected far better communication, ownership and support from a finance provider linked to a premium vehicle brand.

Can’t log in to porthole keeps saying…
Can’t log in to porthole keeps saying error code. Been on hold to Vwfs now for 25mins. Spoke to someone who asked all my details and told them I wanted to end my agreement and get a settlement figure then said you have come through to customer services so ill need to reconnect you to the right service. Still on hold and may need to give up. Been trying to end agreement now for over 2 hrs. They just don’t want you to end the contract as they will loose money. It’s disgusting how they treat you once they have you in their trap.

Giani went above and beyond to find us our dream car. We came to see a car we had seen online however, upon arriving at the dealership, we fell in love with another car. Giani arranged for us to test drive several cars and explained the differences between each model. We then agreed the car we wanted to purchase and from that point, Giani and Simon handled every little detail and left us without any worries. Thank you very much and we highly recommend this dealership.

Brilliant experience—highly recommend Tom!
Had a fantastic experience buying a VW Polo through Tom Philpot at Windrush. Dashboard is not Helpful
The dashboard only gives me information that VW wants me to have. I want a copy of my PCP contract and its not available.
I go to FAQ's but my question not covered.
I go th further help and again you can only ask for help on certain topics. Again mine not covered.

Another great experience from Aberdeen Audi . Got lots of information from Callum and Tony as I wasn’t sure what car to choose.
Also got a first class handover from both Tony and young guy ( can’t remember his name) ~ he explained all the features of the car and even paired up both our mobile phones.

Arleigh ensured the process of swapping our vehicle over to Skoda was a smooth one, had fantastic knowledge of the vehicle we were interested in, and, went above and beyond to guarantee we got exactly what we wanted. Sales Exec at my local dealer was great…but
Sales Exec at my local dealer was great but things all fell apart on the day of collection of my new ID.4. Not his fault but for some reason there were delays in the finance system which resulted in me wasting a couple of hours at dealership, then having to return a week later once whatever it was had been resolved with VFS UK. Poor communication and never really got to the bottom of what caused the delay. What should have been an exciting drive away in new car day experience just turned into a disappointment. Got it in the end though and happy with the ID4 so far so there is that.
