CV pilots played an integral role in the securing of my highly competitive job in finance. Throughout my time working with CV Pilots, they have been highly reliable and committed to high quality output at all times. There is a rare combination of the highest level of professionalism, and a relaxed and friendly approach. It actually takes away a lot of pressure from the stressful job search experience - which I particularly appreciated. Before working with this company, I was not even getting through the initial application stage for any jobs (despite a high level of education and credentials). We’re sorry to hear that you weren’t pleased with your experience. We never had an opportunity to produce a CV for you, as you cancelled your initial consultation with your writer last minute on 3 separate occasions.
As discussed, we were extremely flexible given your circumstances and offered multiple rescheduling opportunities free of charge. We finally had to charge you the cancellation fee outlined in our terms that you agreed to when you placed your order.
We also issued a refund for the remaining amount when you decided you no longer needed our services.

Helpful in the sense of pointers about what sort of information to include / how to craft it
Pretty sure my experience was not something which had been seen before, so am not entirely sure we got the best messaging across but that was something i could remediate
So overall helpful to me in taking an unpolished version to something i can use

Great value for money and a 5 star experience
Was dubious about using a CV writing company again as i dont feel i got my moneys worth last time. However at a time when i really needed to ensure I got considered for the right opportunities, i decided to go with CV Pilots.
I'm really pleased i did - it wasnt cheap - but I do feel i got good value for money - in depth questioning to understand my needs, things delivered at the time that they were promised, easy access to the people assigned to my case.
Highly recommend these guys.

Clear recommendation not to write CVs yourself
Matt and his team are very organized and structured. This allows an exact and reliable coordination of appointments. In the interview part, they go into details that seemed unimportant to me but bring significant added value. These points are worked out cleanly and can be found in the resume. The transfer to LinkedIn also went very well. I've learned a lot about using LinkedIn. I will contact CV Pilots again for the next adjustment.

Professional & Personable
Matt was very professional and personable. He managed to understand my domain, draw insights and highlight my most saleable points. His work went beyond writing a good CV. After talking with Matt I was able to better frame my experience which helped with conversations in interviews.
