Pass GCSE Avis 

This company is the most greedy company of all time. Firstly they advertise a local exam board yet tried to send me over an hour and 30 away from my home for the price of 500£ “due to late fees”. Then when I tried to cancel not even 5 days later, they had the audacity to try charge me £99 for “admin fees” admin fees for what? No exam centre was confirmed 🤦‍♀️ then they offered to swap my exam to may 2027 right? Which you’d think because that exam is currently 300£ I would receive a partial refund? Nope wrong I am not entitled to any refund as they genuinely just want to keep your money. Honestly stay away from this company they lie in the advertising and they lie to you on the emails. I’ve currently been battling for a full refund for nearly two weeks which is unbelievable. You’d think they’d stop trying to be greedy and give me my money back considering I’m 18 and have had to save for this exam myself but no they have made this an absolute nightmare all due to their corporate greed. And when you want to raise a formal complaint that conveniently must be a letter which they have 28 days to reply to? Why not over email? They have consistently tried to stall giving me a refund. I am determined to get the whole thing back at any lengths necessary.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pass GCSE.

Before making the £350 payment, I specifically asked about the cancellation policy. I was told by a member of staff three separate times that I could cancel before 1 Sep and receive a full refund. This was an important factor in my decision to proceed with the booking.

After failing to find a suitable exam centre and realising the centre that had been confirmed was actually too far I called to request a refund before the 1 Sept deadline. I was refused a refund as the centre had been confirmed. This was not explained on the three occasions that I had requested information of the cancellation policy. I was referred to the terms and conditions that had been emailed to me after I had made payment.

They even acknowledge that I was advised that a full refund could be provided if a cancellation request was received before 1st September, and understood why I relied upon that information but they state this was subject to the booking being eligible for a refund, this was not stated when i specifically asked about the cancellation policy and a detail I feel was essential in my decision.

I would not recommend PassGCSE and in fact have booked to sit the exam at a local school for £51 instead of the £350 paid to PassGCSE.

SECOND UPDATE:
A refund of money rightfully owed to me is not a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, I remain dissatisfied, as you have still failed to refund the full amount I paid. I also had to go back and forth with you over several days just to get the partial refund.
Your company contacted me initially following my expression of interest. At no point was I directed to your website or made aware that your choice of exam boards was limited. Had this information been clearly communicated to me from the outset, I would have been in a position to make an informed decision.
I therefore do not consider the partial refund offered to be an acceptable resolution and I have made that very clear to you. I will continue to escalate my complaint through your complaints department until this matter is resolved appropriately.

UPDATE: I am replying to their response which is false, to prevent this from happening again to another customer:

You are avoiding what actually happened. I made it very clear to the advisor that I was unsure which exam board my daughter was studying with, and I was repeatedly reassured that this was not a problem and that we could change the exam board if necessary.

At no point was I told that certain exam boards were unavailable. In fact, I was specifically told there was nothing to worry about and that everything would be fine. I also have evidence showing that I had made it clear from the outset that I was unsure which exam board my daughter was using.
So please don’t describe this as a “confusion” or apologise for a misunderstanding. There was no confusion on my part. I asked questions, explained the situation clearly, and relied on the information and reassurance I was given.
The way this situation has been handled has been extremely disappointing, and I feel I have been treated very poorly throughout. I simply expect the facts of what happened to be acknowledged rather than the responsibility being shifted onto me.....

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received.

I wanted to wait until I knew which exam board my daughter would be using for her English resit before purchasing a package. I explained this clearly to the advisor, as I wasn’t certain which board it would be.

The advisor repeatedly assured me that I could purchase the package now and simply switch it once I found out the exam board. Based on that advice, I went ahead and purchased the English package.

The following week, I found out that my daughter would be sitting Edexcel 2.0. When I contacted the advisor to switch the package, I was then told, “Oh, we don’t do that.”

I explained that I only purchased the package because I had been specifically told that I could change it once I knew the exam board. When I asked for a refund instead, this was also refused.

I feel completely misled. If I had been given the correct information in the first place, I would have waited before making the purchase. I relied on the advisor’s assurances, and it is extremely frustrating to now be left with a package that isn’t suitable for my daughter’s exam board.

Very disappointing customer service and, quite frankly, disgusting treatment of a customer who simply followed the advice given to them.

Jack has been so helpful throughout the whole process and dealing with any queries after. Even went the extra mile with a request in securing a local exam centre. We love the platform it is easy to use and intuitive! Highly recommend

I spoke with George yesterday, he helped me immensely and because of him, I was able to book a centre as an external candidate to sit GCSE Spanish. The centre is within an hours drive from my home which I am very pleased about. George also recommended a revision course for me in order to be able to use past papers to help me prepare for the examination. Within our phone conversation, I have secured my place for the examination and will now be fully prepared for the exam. I’m very happy, thankyou George - you were professional, efficient and kind.

My experience with Jack was really positive. he was very supportive, friendly, understanding and encouraging throughout. Whenever there was an issue, he was always willing to listen and provided different solutions and options to help. I really appreciated how approachable and supportive he was. Chisom was soo patient and understanding. She went through all the details to me and my grandmother and ensured we understood all the terms, conditions and pricing. Lovely lady.

The support team have been so helpful. I have dealt with Jack from the beginning. He"s been very patient, answering all of my questions, giving me the informations and clarifying all the details for me. He did his best to make me understand how everything work.
Finally, Jacob took over . He took his time explaining all over again the whole process and stood with me until I took my final decision and enrolled in the course.

Jacob has been so informative and helpful. He encouraged us and through his advice we managed to navigate through.

My experience with Pass GCSE has been excellent! The booking process was simple and hassle free. I was guided by support team member John, who was so patient and helpful. John was not pushy or inappropriate and made my experience all the more easy.

I particularly like the option that you can pay over time rather than run one lump sum, with Klana or PayPal.

It’s far more simple and easier to arrange an exam centre nowadays rather than redoing the year in college; as in my case I just wanted a slightly higher grade.

I would recommend anyone at any level to sign up for Pass GCSE, as course work is also available. Excellent opportunity platform made super easy. Excellent communication as well as outstanding customer care and support.

My exam was very well organised. The staff was very supportive and best of all the parking was free and you could park your car for the whole duration of exam. I felt comfortable with the running of my exam and instruction of invigilating staff. It was a great experience. Thanks ITC.

Really worth it

What I liked most about them are their replies which were very friendly. The booking process went well, I had booked late but still managed to get a place in London. It was an exciting experience as I got a tour of London after the exams. If there is a second time I'd definitely reach out to them. Good service all the way.
