It took me 13 years to pass my maths…
It took me 13 years to pass my maths and even though after multiple attempts throughout my teenage years into early adulthood I just couldn’t get that pass mark. This year I promised myself I would gain my maths qualification so I could go onto university and with an opening coming up soon I needed to pass it and get my certificate asap! Pass functional skills helped me do that and it was a very straight forward process, the customer care team are also amazing and right up to my exam they kept in contact making sure I had enough support and offered me further materials to help ensure I achieved a pass mark. The turnaround was extremely fast and from sitting my exam to getting results I had then within 2 working days and my certificate! I would highly recommend pass functional skills; thanks to you I can no go onto doing my dream job this year which is years in the making!

I passed with pass functional skills!
I was nervous to start as it’s a big step and a lot of money but I needed this to progress in my line of work. The experience with pass functional skills was brilliant. I could take it at my own pace and this proved lucky as I had a lot going on six months in, as my partner found out he was very ill so at that time I had to take my eye off my studies for a while to care for him. The first time trying to log into the exams proved difficult but with customer services helping me through it I managed to get on and pass! All in all it took me over a year to pass my level 2 english with tquk which I accept as I had a lot going on personally but if that hadn’t of been the case I think I would’ve passed in 6 months. Thank you pass functional skills I can now progress in my line of work and I have this qualification forever.

Very straightforward and user friendly interface. I booked my exam with TQUK and when I needed help on the day of exam, one simple call and the lady I spoke with was very quick to solve my issue. Wrote and passed my exam with no other issues.

Great support and resources
I used Pass Functional Skills to book my Level 2 Maths exam after struggling with other providers. I did originally book to do the TQUK exam but I experienced technical difficulties on the night of my exam, the team were quick to fix this and booked me onto an Open Awards exam the next day. I used their YouTube videos and online tools to identify the areas I needed to work on, which made revision easier. I’m pleased to say I passed my exam first try with PASS. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to achieve their Functional Skills qualification, especially people like me who need them for University.

We are sorry to hear that you did not receive the results you were hoping for! We completely understand how frustrating this can be. With regards to our resits prices we do try to keep these as low as possible. However, there are fees that need to be covered with scheduling and running this new exam slot as this is a group exam.

Fully modular

I disliked the ai marking for the course modules as some of it incorrectly marked my answers I do understand I could of typed them more clearly but was still a little inconvenient the exam itself wasn't bad

Best decision ever to choose this
Experience from purchasing the exam to sitting the exam to receiving results, everything was very smooth and easy. Being able to sit the exam at home made me feel less anxious and more confident. Would recommend this service if you wish to pass like I did!

I undertook the English Functional Skills Level 2
I undertook the English Functional Skills Level 2 after only getting a ‘3’ in my GCSE.
The whole process was easy, from enrolment to completion. The online learning was easy and I competed the course - when suited - over 2 month period.
The exam process was great - being able to take it from home. Set up on the laptop was a little fiddly and didn’t work well. Online support was available but did struggle to resolve my issues. I did have to replan my exam to an alternative date.
The exams were easy to navigate and results quick to be returned.
I have a 14 year old brother and we will be getting the course and exam for him to compete. It will lighten the GCSE load later for him.
By passing this course it has enable me to move on into an apprenticeship September 2026. Thank you!
