Pass Functional Skills Avis

Enrolling was effortless thanks to George, who explained things easily and sorted out a minor issue within minutes. Thanks George!

I had a great experience with Pass Functional Skills and was pleasantly surprised about how good the learning materials are and how easy the platform is. I was able to learn all the subjects for Level 2 Maths in 3 months and passed first time. Highly recommend anyone who is thinking of doing their maths qualification, super pleased with it all!

Great experience - very easy to book exams and submit evidence, customer service really helpful too

Amazing amazing highly recommended.

They were so helpful and made it easy for me. They follow up every step of the way.

It was great to have the program to work through and it obviously worked as we got 2 passes :) In the English the AI could make errors, but as soon as that is sorted it will amazing

My child (post 16) completed the Functional Skills Maths Level 2 Course and Maths Level 2 exam (TQUK) with Pass Functional Skills. The exam was done online. Course completed in 2 months and exam passed first time.

We would highly recommend both the course and the online exam. The course platform is extremely user friendly and the material covers everything you need. When you ring Pass Functional Skills they answer the phone and are very helpful. As we got closer to the exam we also contacted TQUK and they always answered phone and replied to emails the same day. I was apprehensive about my child doing an online exam but you are given full instructions and can always contact Pass Functional Skills or exam board if any concerns.

If you have a son or daughter who is struggling with GCSE Maths then I would definitely consider doing Level 2 Functional Skills with PFS. It is not as overwhelming as the GCSE as a smaller range of subjects to learn and minimal algebra. My child got a pass and was accepted into college with the Level 2 as an an equivalant to GCSE Grade C (you would need to check with college beforehand).

I would recommend it. The process was very helpful, straightforward, and easy to understand. Everything was explained clearly, making the whole experience simple and stress-free.

I have recently passed my functional skills level 2 English and am working through my level 2 Maths. I have found the course easy to follow, lost of chance to practise with great tutor support I would highly recommend it.

I dealt with Jacob and had many questions, all of which were answered very promptly via chat / text. Jacob saw me through from enquiry to purchase and made the process very easy. Highly recommend.

It does not work with macOS, so I contacted their support team, but they simply don’t seem to care. The staff kept interrupting me at every step. When I asked for a refund, I only received a response a week later saying that I needed to complete a refund form. After that, I had to wait even longer, only to be told that they would not refund my money.

Even though the fault is entirely on their side.

Apparently, according to their logic, in order to take this exam, you would have to buy a Windows laptop and take the exam on it, even if you have no need for the laptop afterwards.

They seem to be very good alongside the awarding body TQUK, who are very forgiving when it comes to examinations.

The revision cards with Pass Functional skills are spot on, and they even cover Speaking, Listening, and Communicating techniques for English functional skills.

I previously did Maths for free with a training provider, and I paid for my English exam out of my own money to complete both of them as quickly as possible. I’m so glad that Pass Functional skills appreciates that way of learning and achieving my goals.

Although I did not pay for the premium option when purchasing my exam, I knew I could pass English with what I knew, and the revision cards I Had. I just took some online diagnostic tests and learned through pass functional skills’ free online learning.

The premium option includes an account where you can revise English and Maths, and the diagnostic test adjusts the revision material to show you what areas you need to strengthen. I believe they also send you a physical revision pack.

This is all to give you the best chance of passing, which shows their dedication for providing a great service to you.

I highly recommend the service, I have both my Maths and English functional skills at level 2.

jack was pleasant on the phone, very helpful and helped set my son up on the functional skills, gave me all the options and was very helpful

I used pass functional skills this summer to take my level 2 maths exam, when I booked the exam I got free revision papers for the exam and it was delivered literally in a few days. Though i didn’t pass the first time when i wrote the exam i booked another one which i passed in time to send over to my university to gain admission for the academic year 2026. So i wanna say thank you to pass functional skills.

I found the service provided by PFS to be deceptive. They promise to make it easy to pass, yet they set the bar unnecessarily higher than local colleges, which provide this qualification - Functional Skills English Level 2 - for free. They allow you to take the exam without any prior training because they profit from your failure—and you will have to pay for every single resit. They cost me a year of my life. As you can likely tell from this text, my English is perfectly fine and easily better than that of the average NHS nurse. In the end, I went to Cheshire College South & West, where I obtained my English Level 2 qualification fairly, easily, and completely for free. Please listen to my warning and avoid PFS. These people are not what they seem. I went through this entire ordeal in 2023. They have since persuaded Trustpilot to delete my original review, but because I care about helping others, I am writing it again. I do not understand why Trustpilot only allows reviews that are a maximum of 12 months old. This experience still affects me today, even after more than a year, so it is only right that I post this review to stop other people from going through the same nightmare. Trustpilot, why have you taken my review down? Do you have any proof that I am lying? Your job is to host honest reviews from BOTH SIDES. How is it fair to take down a review just because one side claims it is wrong? Furthermore, the largest proportion of reviews on your website is positive. That is not helpful and relevant. People need to know the issues, not just the positive aspects. Do you mean to be fair and truly relevant?
Do what is right, then. Leave my review up, to help people not go through what I went.

Passed my functional skills

Functional Skills Pass was a huge help for me. The guides were clear, and the practice papers made all the difference in helping me pass after a few tries. If you fail your first attempt, don't get discouraged and try again—never give up! Wish I had bought the practice papers from day one. Great service overall!
