Dakota Lithium Battery Avis 

Spent 3600.00 in Jan 2026 on a 36 volt battery with 11 year warranty .today 10-15-2026 10 months later battery bad and due to the company changing hands they will not honor warranty.so a little advice don’t purchase a Dakota battery

They only sent me 2 of the 3 batteries I ordered. Emails went unanswered, so I called, called again, called again, called again. Someone answered twice, both times said they would research the problem and get back to me. They never got back to me. It's not even hard to research, the shipping weight is 2 lbs light of the listed weight of the 3 batteries. Sending me what I paid for is the lowest possible bar to clear, they didn't even clear that bar, and appear to be uninterested in resolving the problem. Filed a dispute with my CC company.

I received my new 24 volt charger rather quickly. I had recharged my batteries with the 12 volt charger I received with the batteries. After using them I hooked up the 24 volt charger and charged tem back up. Everything is working great.

In the small boating world keeping weight down is key to performance. This 1 or 2 lb battery replaces a 50 lb deep cell starting battery. Huge win. We'll see over the long run but I'm really happy so far. The only down side is they only sent 1 set of terminal screws. The battery has 2 sets of + and -. Sure would've been nice not to have to stop at the hardware store to get another set.

The customer service was amazing! The battery is everting I was looking for to power all my auxiliary electronics like diesel heater, Starlink and camping equipment. This battery could when other batteries couldn't. Thanks Dakota!

Great batteries at a good price that hold a charge better than others I have tried 12 volt 10 ah is perfect for my electronics on my kayak delivery was good

Batteries are great but mine were shipped signature required and that turned into a disaster. Had to take a day off then it wasn't delivered. After many calls to FEDX i was finally delivered. Nothing on the web site when i ordered indicated that a signature would be required. Fix the web site .

I have a Dakota Lithium battery that went bad while still under warranty, wouldn't take a charge. I contacted them numerous times. Phone calls and emails for 3 months. Never received a call back or email reply.

La batteria è arrivata in ritardo, e quando finalmente l’ho ricevuta, era danneggiata. Ho contattato il servizio clienti, ma la risposta è stata lenta e poco soddisfacente. Non solo non ho ricevuto un rimborso, ma ho anche dovuto pagare per la spedizione di ritorno. Non lo consiglierei a nessuno.

I was promised a replacement battery months ago. After a follow-up all I get are automated replies:
"Phone and email support are currently limited, and responses may be delayed."
Their customer service is non-existent. No replies to my emails and their phone service is down.
I smell a bankruptcy in their future.

Product is great but service is very lacking. I have been emailing and calling for a month and a half and all I need is my missing charger that was supposed to be included in the purchase and a receipt for the purchase. There batteries are great and hold up very well but trying to get a hold of anyone is impossible.

Delivery took too long. Didnt need the battery by arrival.

I had a battery go bad after two years. I've tried customer support to get the battery replaced but they are yet to respond after two months. This company is absolutely HOT GARBAGE. Do not buy there products!

No response to email. No ability to call. Terrible customer service. Delivery took around a month.

Cannot talk to anyone or will not answer emails or phone calls. Customer service is terrible. Would not purchase anything else from this company.

Fast delivery, well built product

36v 60ah lifepo4 stopped working after 3 years. Performed all required troubleshooting and testing. Called DL numerous times, emailed and filled out support form. No response after a month of waiting. This company is horrible! 11 year warranty and no support.

I ordered three 100ah lithium battery's for my bow mount trolling motor. I've had them for 3 years and have 2 of the 3 go bad. I was able to get a warranty replacement on the first bad battery but it was with a different size battery (the dimensions were smaller). This made it difficult for where I mounted my batteries, but I made it work. I recently had a second go bad, and it's been 5 months, and still they have not been able to provide me a replacement. What good is a warranty if you can't get a replacement? No communication about when the replacement will be available. Do yourself a favor and avoid this brand.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!
$850 for a battery with a 10 cent handle.
It broke and could have dropped on my foot or in the water.
Called customer service and they said it was NOT AVAILABLE.
Website has no customer service features.
NOW WHAT!!!
