Really fine leatherwork!
Very easy communication, efficient and smart delivery which was quite quick, my leather vest is much a great work of art really, and I plan to have it and then pass it down to my son and hopefully and so on etc. I love the vest, I love the attention to detail and care that went in to making it perfect. I did have to go thru an exchange as the vests run a little on the smaller side, so go up a size as that whole process was easy peasy. Thank you to Jason Butler at DanielSmartmfg, who was with me the whole way! It’s a super quality leatherwork here!

My order came in and I noticed after wearing it for about a week that the item had stitching that was unraveling. I contacted Jason in customer service and and he was happy to send a replacement. Excellent service and let me tell you how much I love the armor. I ride daily and it has been hitting 107s the last couple weeks. I ride 20 miles each way, and I am still relatively comfortable in full gear.

Great customer service and workmanship!
Customer service reached out shortly after I placed my order to confirm a few things and I'm VERY glad they did. The V2 zipper extends into the chest pockets and I wear a club charter patch on the right chest pocket. They custom made the zipper on that size to start at the bottom corner of the pocket. Very much appreciated!!! This new cut is seriously impressive. If you order anything leather from these guys, go for the Platinum leather upgrade!

High quality
High quality. Seems to be very well made. The only two things I would change about it if I could: the collar is too tight around the back and sides of my neck causing me to sweat a lot more in that area and soak the leather collar. Also, and I'm not saying this is a bad thing but the vest is really heavy so by the time I add all my crap to it, it gets really heavy.

Seamless Return Experience
Website made it very easy to find what I was looking for at the right price. Prior to using my vest, upon opening the conceal carry pocket, it pulled the snap off of the leather. I reached out to customer service and within 2 days a replacement was on the way. Working with Jason Butler through the process was seamless. I manage a call center and expect my team to provide great service to everyone. I experienced that service with Jason.

Customer service is above and beyond…
Customer service is above and beyond what I've received from any other manufacture. First I get a call from Daniel Smart because he had a question. Then the service I got from Jason Butler. He had me emailing back with answers to questions he had about my order. I ordered three items and he had question in regards to one item so he sent 2 items ahead and waited for my answer in regards to the questionable item. He then mailed that item to follow. I couldn't be happier with this company and it's employee.
