I would like to thank Joe Bartlett from Darlows Property Management at Albany Road. Joe has quickly and efficiently dealt with a maintenance issue at my property, communication has been excellent from Joe who has resolved the situation and provided feedback. Joe is polite and professional and has provided an excellent service.

My experience with Darlows Albany Road has been anything but good. My property was listed with them for around 12 months. They failed to give feedback on any viewings that took place at my property, and when asked about said feedback, I was told that the folder on my property was empty. Staff left my front door unlocked on 3 occasions, and when challenged on this, I was told that this wasn't the case. Tim, the branch Manager, is unable to use the 'Reply All' function on emails it seems, that is if he is capable of replying to an email at all. I was incredibly patient with the sale of my property, having had sales fall through twice, and when the sale was finally ready to go through, information on exchange and completion dates was not shared with me, leading to months of waiting, and financial outlays that I could barely afford.

I would not recommend Darlows to anyone, and their 'after care' once I had made a formal complaint has been laughable.

Been renting 6 years now with Darlows with Property management.
Had great service today regarding my property renewal, Forms sent speedly, signed and sent back to me with the full Contract for my next year of Renting.

Joan Davies was here in the property this morning and she was so professional and checked everything and noted down everything that was not working and followed up with the landlord for improvement. It was such a good visit to know how we have been fairing on since we rented the house. Good job

Will not call you with updates or even when u request a call back! Communication is shocking quick enough taking the money to do absolutely nothing. Ended up doing everything my self with solicitors and baristas! Even when keys were suppose to be handed in at a certain time (court orders) they still didn’t have any communication or idea what was going on! Rung on number of occasions to see if they had the keys. Promised to give a call back when they “have information” still waiting! Absolutely shocking and a waste of time AND MONEY!

Very disappointing service. I did not feel supported by Darlows. The communication was abysmal although I did feel that they communicated when it was in their favour and then were vague when it suited them and they certainly don’t support the seller, they are only interested in supporting the buyer to secure a sale.
The feedback initially from viewings were poor and quite frankly rubbish.
They should be ashamed of the prices they charge for such a terrible service.

I wouldn’t use them again they seem to be on the side of buyers not the people they’re representing .

Jessica jones always keeps me informed of any houses that are coming up for sale in the area I’m looking for , she is always polite when I speak with her over the phone .

We’ve recently been working with Jada. She’s been really helpful, friendly and professional.

Disappointing experience.

Partner went to view a house and was told the landlord wanted to choose someone that day. He was advised they would email everyone after the viewing and ask them to submit their details regarding whether they wanted the house, their income etc.

We had no email. We called for an update, but there was none. We called again and asked for a call back that day as we were interested, but there was no call back. This went on for several days with no call back given as promised.

Eventually the house was changed to 'agreed let' online so we called to ask what was going on. We were told that the landlord was still deciding and someone would be in touch, but they weren't. We chased again, but nothing.

Eventually, we gave up as the whole process was frustrating and badly managed.

I appreciate that things in this industry can change fast but that's no excuse for not keeping people in the loop. Clearly a very badly organised branch.

This company do not fulfil what they tell you over the phone. Visited my property made promises to supply valuations and or rental values. No further contact no return calls and avoidance of messages. When I eventually contacted the actual agent I met, excuses and new promises which again never materialised. Simply don't have the honesty to tell you the truth. Simple as that. 1 star is too much don't bother.

Terrible company. All they do is push their mortgage at the end of every conversation even though I blatantly told them I had used a personal broker. They've also gamified the system so that people who don't have a mortgage through them aren't given priority on viewings and open house offers. No sense of the individuals experience seeking their dream home just naked capitalism.

On recently requesting a viewing of a property from the brynmawr branch upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely warm welcoming smile and a friendly young lady introducing herself as jessica which put us at ease immediately as viewings can be cold and clinical, we found jessica to be very honest and open in answering any questions put to her and very informative of the area, clearly proud of the area and passionate about her job, was a real pleasure, thankyou kindly jessica, highly recommend

Great support from Lauren Keirle dealing with a property maintenance issue. Lauren was polite and courteous throughout the process, discussing options, keeping me informed on progress and also on completion, which I found very helpful.

Went to see a flat viewing and tried to contact 7 times saying that i wanted to rent the flat. I was told that someone would call me back but i was never contacted. I then saw that the flat was taken by checking rightmove. Very unprofessional and really bad communication

Nadia visited my rental property today to get a better understanding and first hand view of my concerns re mould. I found her to be open, professional and honest about what was happening and the way forward.
A very good advert for her company .

Lauren keirle visited my home today to conduct an inspection, she was a friendly, bubbly and warm person. What an asset to have in your branch and especially front facing your tenants. Thank you for your visit and hopefully see you next time 😁

Seeing reviews below I understand some frustration because our beginning with Darlows wasn’t brilliant either, but I have to admit from time when Sophie Peake take care about our property everything finally looks good. Email are never left without reply, she’s very polite and happy to help. At this stage I would recommend Darlows as a letting agent.
