Took ages for dresses to come. Sizes didn’t fit they only offer partial refund!! Worst online company. Would never use this company

First time I have dealt with Clovedale. Found the website easy to get around. Look like some lovely clothes. Waiting now for my dress to arrive in time for my granddaughters wedding. Looks like I will be buying from Clovedale again

The chunky cardigan i ordered did not match what arrived! Very poor quality material, out of shape. They said it did after I sent photos of it!
They will only give full refund if I paid recorded delivery back to them.
The address given was in China!

Do not waste your money! I bought a pair of sandals that I thought were from the UK but came from China which in itself is not a problem, my impressions of the sandles on first look was that I have bought better quality from Shein for £5 but these were £36. The strap to fasten the sandals was shorter than the heel so would never be long enough to go round my wife's small ankle.
I asked for a refund as they were not fit for purpose, after 4 emails with which they did listen at that 8 just wanted a refund the said I would have to return them to China at my expense. I insisted that under the Consumer rights act of 2015 they are legally required to pay the return postage but the would only give me 30% refund and I can keep the sandals that are completely useless. I declined their offer and contacted Trading Standards, I can't believe that the company would jeopardise their reputation for a postage return.

Criminal! Tried to make a return and they use every offer in the book to prevent the return, they then expect you to ship (tracked!) to China at a cost of £40 (for one pair of shoes)! Awful company, don't go near them

Are these positive reviews perhaps fake?
I have been coming across a number of wonderful sites when shopping for my husbands birthday - al based in the netherlands or australia etc but delivery is too long or items don't arrive.
customer service contact is a mobile number! and surprise surprise it doesn't work.
Clovedale seems to be one of those companies so I can't believe that the reviews are true when the model is exactly like the companies I have been ordering from - none of which have delivered yet...

if you can't speak to them then don't take a risk!

They do not accept returns, offered me to buy another item, then a credit note, then a 15% refund... the item I bought isn't cut symmetrically and looks AWFUL on as a result. I read these reviews and thought "ah it's not that bad, I'm sure the bad reviews are the minority" but please PLEASE think before you buy, this is £45 down the drain for a dress that I can't even wear.

The shoes arrived late and ran really small. Be warned- they are shipping from Ningbo China- not quality at all. They make it very difficult for you to return, at your own cost tracked! Avoid avoid avoid. Not worth 1/3 of what I paid for them.

Great company, my dress is exactly as seen, it's very comfortable to wear, beautiful material, hangs lovely, true to size, I was constantly updated on the progress of my order, also very reasonably priced, I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again myself 😁
