We will recommend them to the many people we work with who are in the area temporarily and need 1-2 years rentals. We appreciate the extra effort you guys take with customers.

I will say Darwin did start communicating with me which was appreciated. However, they have decided to take 90% of my security deposit. I provided many pictures and spoke back and forth many times. I dont agree with their assessment and they would not even hear it. They are taking my money to sell the house and not rent it out. I would never use this company and will tell any person I can to not use them. I tried to be cordial but we did not deserve what they did to us. We are good people and left the home in good condition, completely acceptable for someone to move in. I've never once had a company charge for painting or the other charges they stated because we left the homes in good condition and wouldn't do otherwise. They wouldnt provide invoices or proof of the charges becuase they are most likely not true. I hope no one else has to deal with such stress. We are out $2600 and in this economy that hits us extremely hard. We have a family and this money would have gone to help us get by.

Moved into this house last April, put in a work order for a leak in the ceiling. They sent people out and every time the workers put in a proposal to fix, someone else was sent to check the same issue. It’s been almost a year and the problem hasn’t been fixed. We have called many times to have the ac fixed for a leak and nothing. Finally another hvac worker came out to the house last Monday and turned off the ac. We have been given the run around on When it will be fixed. A week without AC or heat. Was told maintenance hadn’t put in a proposal. Maintenance is saying they are waiting for the approval of their proposal they sent last week. So which is it? Horrible service with this rental company

Renting from Darwin Homes was a huge mistake I will never do again. First, you can never speak to an actual person. Second, I was never told upon moving in I was renting within an HOA and never received rules, but they were quick to tell me if I did something wrong. I asked repeatedly for a copy of the HOA guidelines and they would never send them. The house was poorly updated - appliances didn't work, floors were not nailed down, handles fell off, etc. I had to constantly have things fixed. Then when I moved out, despite fixing everything, sending them an invoice for cleaning and leaving the house in better shape than when I moved in, they sent me an invoice for over $1,000 beyond taking my security deposit for things like releasing the house, holes in the siding of the house, recaulking all of the bathrooms and kitchen, replacing the backdoor that I noted was damaged upon moving in, and other things that have nothing to do with a tenant living there or were there when I moved in. This is a very shady company - do not rent from them.

I’ve already rented from Darwin homes in the past, I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. When our lease was running up we decided to continue the search through Darwin because they have better quality and competitive pricing for my area. The staff is super friendly and will help you along the process the whole way! I’m younger and was nervous for my first lease and they gave me good tips and answered all my questions no matter how silly I’m sure they were. Thank you Darwin team for all the hard work you put in because it really does make a difference!
