DataMaster for Appraisers Avis 

I have been using DataMaster for years. I still use the Market Conditions to gauge the market for reporting purposes. DataMaster is the best at importing the MLS and the public record, showing the differences between them in order to get the best report to my clients. It saves me a lot of time.

DataMaster support is prompt and professional.When I have called (which was seldom due to the excellent product)for help the tech was knowledgeable and through in assisting me with software conversion to BrightMLS. I do recommend this product to all my students and associates.

The product is great, and so is the support when needed.

My biggest concern is the COST, that is the 5th star I would have rated your product. The Appraisal field has changed a lot in the fees received. Appraiser's are making much less than we used to but our expenses continue to rise. Any company that is a support to this field should shoulder that same decline in fee. There are other products out there that are much less. I will be exploring Spark, it is as well received as your product is 45% more expensive than Spark, and now the 1004D is no longer required, (for most Lenders). I need a financial break, if I change to Spark, I will save $480 annually.

I pay about $600 for my Clickforms annual subscription, but I pay you $1,068, that's 178% of my main program cost! HELP, no really HELP!!!

There are still some flaws that Data Master has not been able to correct. I have to manually input these items on the appraisal form.

I have used DataMaster for a few years now, and can say that I can not do without them now. They are always there if I ever have a problem, and are more than willing to show me new things they have added.

Data Master is great, but...! The key is, it saves you time and helps to create accuracy. The only issue I've had is the 1004MC. The good news is that at some point it won't be required by lenders, but I do NOT want to see it disappear in Data Master as it's valuable for determining some adjustments like time and differences in neighborhood values (Location adjustments). Depending on the settings, it can give conflicting results in the "listing" results when compared with other 1004MC programs like ARMLS.

although i purchased the service, i found that i did not need or use the service but was still billed for months that i did not use it. Very Poor decision on their part. Very lousy of them to not refund for months not used.

The customer service is great. This is a product that has worked for me for many years, it is simple and quick to use. I know there are more features that I could be taking advantage of and I look forward to discovering those as well.

Love it - saves a lot of time

I experience inconsistent service occasionaly and this should not be the case, when I am spending more money for this service than any other information based services including MLS. Just today I had difficulty in pulling in the subject property information when using the subjects address. With the volume of the work in decline, I am questioning the $89 dollars that I spend every month is the right choice.

I like using Data Master, it works well with the ACI platform that I use and helps to streamline some of the data entry for comps, 1004MC and more.

Product works fine. My issue is the cost. When work slows down as it has now, I may only use it 2-3 times/month. Way too much to pay. Need a smaller package for smaller companies.

It’s fast to load comps in the report. You can set it up how you want the extras on the grid. Customer service is always friendly and great when needing help.

Worked great for couple of weeks than it didn't work with the MLS providers that it said it worked that the sales person and tech person said would work with. Called support and they couldn't get it to work and than tells me they never had support for it to work on that MLS provider. And they charge me a month of service when at the initial sign up I told them I will be gone for vacation for next couple of weeks and they said they won't charge me till I told them I was back for the training. I wouldn't trust the sales or tech person when they try to pitch it again. Hope that month of service they charge me for was worth it. I basically got charged for a month of service for nothing and another month of service for a product that didn't work.

Extremely disappointing rollout of the new version..... years!!
