Pure excellence in every respect!

My family was tasked with relocating from America to the UK. David Phillips came highly recommended and Nathan at DP exceeded that expectation. Not only was Nathan able to help us while we were still on the other side of the pond with excellent literature and email guidance to select what we needed, their contracting process was very flexible to align with that of our tenancy agreement. Then, he was willing to coordinate with the landlord to have everything delivered the day before we arrived, so all we had to do was open the door and begin our new adventure in Egham. On top of that, we had a few issues caused by our ignorance of differences between UK and USA, but Nathan worked with us to get them sorted out right away. If you need rental furniture in the UK, we cannot recommend David Phillips highly enough. Pure excellence in every respect!

EXCELLENT QUALITY FURNITURE, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have used David Phillips furniture sales for over a decade in furnishing a buy-to-let property. I have always found them prompt, responsive, and quick to attend to and remediate any issues I may have raised, with high quality furniture. I started using their rental furniture service last year and for two consecutive years, they have again demonstrated excellent customer services, often going above and beyond the call of duty. We have just had our rental furniture delivered yesterday and I am extremely pleased with the quality and design of the pieces, the professionalism of the installation and the overall service. Outstanding attention to the client, including quickly and promptly addressing any issues we may have raised. Shout out to Olivia Short, our rental Sales Coordinator - thank you so much for the follow-ups, the after sales service. We are so very grateful.

Purchased a new bedframe with the help of Sarah Young

Sarah Young helped me in purchasing a new bedframe for a client of ours. The job was extremely last minute (my fault) and I needed a bed ordered and delivered within 24 hours. Sarah got on it immediately and helped me order and arrange delivery. Sarah made my experience smooth and hassle-free. I would recommend David Phillips to others based on my experience.

Fantastic furniture rental company

Super quick and efficient turnaround arranging rental furniture for our flat when we were trying to sell it. The furnishings were stunning and luxurious, and the service was brilliant. A very professional company, an excellent experience all round. Highly recommended.

Policies and communication BAD.

Was expecting delivery and the policies and communication was very poor. Although there was confirmation twice that i was going to be home, i've received a phone call at 8 o'clock in the morning to get asked the same question again. Not only ruined my sleep since i was after a night shift but i also never got updated even though they said they gonna call back. The number they were calling from was unable to receive calls. I received a second call around 2pm for them to assured me that they gonna be there in like 20 to 30 mins ( bare in mind the latest they would show up was 14:30 based on the initial agreement). Not only they came an hour later but there was no apologies what so ever. The guys did a fast job but sad that this escalated the way it did.

We are sorry you found our delivery service and communication poor. Our standard process is:
• The day prior to delivery we finalise access with the contact provided to give an indicative time of arrival
• The day of the delivery, as the team depart the depot they call all customers to confirm that their order is out for delivery and provide a rough 3 hour window that they are likely to deliver the goods
• The team then provide a next stop call (which is usually 30 minutes from arrival)
Most of our customers love and value this communication and this is the first negative feedback we have received regarding this. If we had been notified you were on night shifts, we would have given specific instructions to the team to not call you in the morning. You state you were never updated but then received a second call, this is in line with our processes. You would also have been given a link via SMS to be able to tack the delivery vans progress, again something our customers love as they do not have to wait in all day unnecessarily so. Unfortunately, traffic conditions in London can play a part in any delivery being delayed. However, our team should have updated you when they were running late and apologised to you for this. I am pleased that you had no issue with their speed and workmanship. We will however, take this feedback on board and use our weekly toolbox talk to reinforce the importance of correct customer service when deliveries are running later than scheduled. Again, our apologies for any inconvenience experienced by yourself during this installation.

I just wanted to say we had a wonderful experience with Hayley Keen who staged one of our developments in west London. We had massive delays with our builders and David Phillips worked around to ensure we made deadline to go live with photographer. 5 * staging we were very happy and highly recommended there services. Nicky bloom also really worked hard to get our instruction compared to other staging companies
