My son finished paying off his bankruptcy with DebtStoppers he went through the class finished that the last process was a paper that he had to fill out and fax back to them he faxed the paper work in November 5th 2019 he called and asked them did they received the paperwork they said yes so he called and checked again today which is December 5th 2019 now they're saying that they did not receive the fax and to reopen and close the case again he needs to spend $250 that is a bunch of BS people trust you guys to help them but then you turn around and scan them that is not right but he has his proof so now we'll see what happens after this

Debtstoppers made me feel very much at ease and helped me understand what the process was. That is where it stopped. I have had to tell most my debtors I filed bankruptcy and it had been discharged. It is almost like they were not notified. Then some of my debts on my credit report now may show a $0 balance and open. At least before there showed closed as a charge off. Took my taxes from 2017 and instead of making copies and giving them back kept them. They are not even sure if the office I filled in has them or not and wants to email me the 2018 taxes they prepared (where are my w2 and 1044 forms? Put on hold for 25 minutes and never came back i hung up called back talked to next rep heeled some and then transferred to someone and now still on hold now for 15 minutes to talk to that person. I feel like I have done alot of this in my own. Not good! They are good for helping with no money down but man am i paying for it now

It was a smooth transition, I couldn't do my second class on my computer I came into the Stockbridge office and completed it any questions I had someone would get right back to me and of course I didn't need any money up front, thank you debstoppers

This has been the worse experience ever and the worse decision ever made! I hired Debstoppers back in January 2014 for a chapter 13. I received a call that my case after 5 years has been dismissed. The frustrating nature of this is that I have been trying to reach out to their office regarding my case since May 2019, as I was to have my bankruptcy discharged as of July 2019. I have now been informed that the case has been dismissed and that was behind the rudest phone call from an one of their so called attorney's that spoke in a loud, harsh and degrading manner. I have sent emails and made phone calls informing the only people that you are able to speak with which are paralegals of my hardship situation and to no avail, although they claim there was a motion in court, they never advised of the documentation required to even present my case. When they called today they advised that now the creditors are able to collect. What have I paid for over the past 5 years?

The process was quick and easy. I went to Debtstoppers because I didn't have the upfront down payment that most bankruptcy law firms require. I went in filled out the paperwork in March of 2019 and was able to file the same day. I setup monthly payments according to how much I could pay. My payments came out semi-monthly on time with no hassle. I was discharged July 2019. Working with Deptstoppers was the BEST decision I've ever made!

Don’t use these Attorneys,, Iam very Unsatisfied.They change attorneys too much you never have the same one it’s hard to get In contact to speak to someone concerning your case ..if it’s not doing the early morning hours you You cannot reach anyone To speak to. You have to leave a voicemail for them to return your call Poor communication. They are not good at getting the correct information that is needed for your case I have paid off my Creditors from years ago and now I am repaying them because a lot of information was still on my credit report but those creditors were paid off in a previous Bankruptcy from prior year’s,, it was paid in full .. I received letter that I had completed all of my payments,, but for some reason it looks like I’m paying these Creditors again ,, I have Proof aswell but with this Firm ,, they to me do not have there skills together,, sorry I used them ,, People have various reasons for choosing Bankruptcy mine was Extremely a hardship.. I expected better service

Do not hire these attorneys to represent you in time of financial need. All they care about is getting paid their $4000 fee. Court room attorney does not keep you informed on the judges ruling, you have to consistently call to find out. unwilling to explain the process to you. Does care if you have rent due, they still take their cut of your pay check before you see it. /more debtors call now than before I filed, Then if your case is dismissed for job lost they want another $1000 to refile. They refuse to give you head attorneys name. In fear of being reported. I will be contacting the Bar Association & BBB.

I would not recommend you to anyone. You are very thorough it taking my money but any other assistance that I needed was like pulling eyeteeth. I was put on hold for long periods of time call backs were not within a reasonable length of time and I still have people debtors who. should have been on the list of debtors sending me bills Every time I went to court I had a different attorney who looked at me as if I were just someone out of the crowd you are not consistent no one used the 3rd reporting Agency. And when I asked why your telephone operators or rude unconcerned and this was a terrible time for me to pay you that money out of the small amount of money that I received calls to my family to experience hunger and even have our utilities in jeopardy but you are uncaring unconcerned unsympathetic or empathetic and I don't think that you do this for the help of people you do it for the money I Would not recommend you to anyone and I was so sorry that I came to .
