I'm so sick this debstopper stuff they lies use people like we dummy 🙄As soon as you just about finish here come Robbin Hood with so stuff🙄 They don't contact you foresake only if you miss a payment so they can dismiss your butt.I ask my attorney why they taking payment out my husband check and he get paid three time that's months . When the contract said twice a month he gone well take it up with treasury.I swear I'm gone find a way to sue their butt I'm sick of their butt

My overall experience was good. I love that I could make additional payments. My only issue was when I needed to speak with someone, it was complicated, I had to go through the main line. Emailing was a lot better. They were very good at replying, and answering any additional questions I may have had aside from my question regarding my reaffirmation considerations.

My experience was okay I didn't like the fact that I had to keep coming back and forth to bring information that I Should Have Been Told upfront that I needed to have . I also I did not like the fact that when I sent an email I never got a response .

More communication about where a person is in the process

I signed up for a six month payment plan which worked out well. My attorney gave me a business card for a company called NABS, which delivered a replacement vehicle to my door within a few weeks; I had to surrender my other vehicle under the Chapter 7 plan! Great attorney who worked with me for the conversion from Chapter 13 to Chapter 7.

The only issues I had was that it was confusing about who was handling my case. The attorney’s name that was on my documents, was not who signed off on everything. Plus I still keep having things pop back up on my credit report.

The process was very easy to do. I can’t believe it’s over already. The my attorney was available and patient with our questions. Thank you

My chapter 7 is now discharged....at least I assume so. I have never heard from anyone from here in quite some time. During the 6 months throughout this process, I left messages and sent emails to the lawyer assigned to my case and not once got a reply or call back! I should have taken, the fact that on my first 3 trips into the office I never met with the same person, as a hint. Having to file isn't a proud moment and having to tell your story to numerous people isn't what I expected. I even had a creditor I am friendly with that I was reaffirming my loan with reach out to my attorney numerous times, via email, calls and even fax and they too....never heard back from anyone! I was expecting a lot more from these guys and although it appears my case has turned out OK, I would not recommend Debtstoppers Atlanta and the Semrad Law Firm to anyone!

Bankruptcy is not for everyone, and I'm quickly finding that out. I will not bash this firm, because I had a nice Attorney, he did what was needed to file on my behalf, and got my discharge. However, I had to mention when my case was discharged and ask what the next step was. I can honestly say I'm no better off than I was before filing. Regrettably, I feel the worst. For anyone who's considering filing bankruptcy, try working with your creditors first, dispute any negative marks on your credit. While bankruptcy will wipe them off, all negative remarks will remain, all late payments remarks will remain. Somehow, that vital piece of information was not explained in my consultation. I'm still making payments to this firm, yet I'm just wondering, as a client, why was I left feeling this way?
