Buyer beware if you're considering the Fragrance Duo during a sale. A shady marketing tactic that they are aware of and won't resolve once called out.
During DedCool's Labor Day sale (20% off sitewide) a checkout popup offered to "Add the Xtra Milk travel spray for $6? ($30 value)." I said yes expecting +$6. Instead my cart converted to the Fragrance Duo bundle at $96 the spray was actually charged at $24, not $6.
I compared this to a Fragrance Duo I ordered in July with no sale running also exactly $96. So the "20% off" never actually lowered the bundle price. The discount on the full size bottle was simply offset by inflating the travel spray price keeping the total fixed no matter what.
Customer service Manager Gabriela acknowledged the checkout popup and pricing were "confusing" but declined to refund the difference even after sending many screenshots of prood. Instead offering a $15 off coupon on a future order, meaning I'd have to spend MORE to benefit rather than get anything back for what I already paid! This left a bad taste in my mouth and will not buy from Dedcool again.
Double check your cart total against a non sale price before assuming a DedCool bundle is actually discounted. In my case it wasn't
