Great service and delicious
Great service, really easy to order and collect. Brilliantly packaged so the meat stays totally frozen after sitting in my car all day. Delicious products! The Pave steak is more tender than beef fillet and the sausages are amazing!

Excellent produce
I've just ordered my third Deerbox and have been delighted with both the quality of the produce and standard of service. The mince, sausages and burgers have gone down really well with my family and I particularly recommend the casserole venison, which is absolutely delicious (far nicer than beef). Deliveries arrive on the stated day and are well packed. It's great to have access to sustainable, ethically sourced, quality meat.

Recently bought a mixed venison box, so far had casserole, sausages and burgers all of it excellent. The slow cooked casserole was the nicest venison I think I've had. Looking forward to the steaks and shoulder. Won't hesitate to buy again

Let down by the delivery
The meat was very good but delivery was not. The website did not automatically show our full address. The delivery was a day late and we had to check that that would not cause any problems.

Thank you for your feedback — we’re really pleased to hear you enjoyed the quality of the meat, as that’s always our top priority as we are a food business, not a delivery company.
In terms of delivery, we use DHL because of their strong reputation for meeting delivery timeframes and handling perishable goods appropriately. As a food business, maintaining the quality and safety of our products in transit is extremely important to us, so we choose partners that can support that. That said, we completely understand how frustrating delays can be, especially when you’re expecting a delivery on a specific day.
Our website can occasionally have address-entry issues depending on how details are auto-filled, but customers are always able to enter the address manually to ensure everything appears correctly. We’re also continually working to improve this.
We actively track all of our shipments and do our best to monitor any delays as they happen. If we see that an order is running late, we’ll always look into it straight away and take action where needed. In the worst-case scenario — if a delay were to affect product quality — we would of course replace items to make sure our customers are looked after.
We really appreciate you flagging this and hope to provide a smoother delivery experience for you next time.

The venison was delicious, delivery not so great.
The venison was delicious, and still frozen when it arrived. Unfortunately the delivery person thought it was ok to dump the box on the ground in front of the front door. They didn't ring the doorbell or knock. We had no notice that it was coming, no notice it had been delivered. Given the solid rainfall, not surprising that the box was absolutely sodden. Fortunately, the contents were intact and still frozen.

We’re very sorry, however, to hear about your delivery experience. We use DHL as our courier partner and expect the same level of care in delivery as we put into preparing and packing our products. Leaving the parcel without knocking or ringing the bell — especially in heavy rain — isn’t the standard we’d hope for, and we completely understand your frustration.
If you’re able to, it would be really helpful to also share this feedback directly with DHL, as they’re best placed to address the delivery handling and ensure it doesn’t happen again. That said, we do pass customer feedback on to them and will make sure this is raised with our account manager too.
