Sorted out the courier's mess up without a quibble

I've always thought that the true measure of a company is in how they handle things when they go wrong. Unfortunately after deerbox sent our order DHL royally messed up and decided they didn't fancy sending our package to us immediately. This of course led to some of our meat being defrosted on delivery. Tom at deerbox helped us enormously and sorted everything out and was quick to respond to my first email when DHL said they weren't showing up.

And of course the venison is delicious, as always. Their sausages are especially good.

Our box arrived on time; a treat to try culled wild fallow deer meat.

Our box arrived on time, well insulated so that all the meat was still deep-frozen. A treat to try culled wild fallow deer meat without the jeopardy of lead shot; the mince was fine and lean, and we batch-cooked a superb bolognaise sauce. We have yet to try the plump fallow shanks; and the wild boar is destined for a hearty Tuscan favourite with papardelle.

Another Amazing Delivery

You cannot beat Deer Box for the highest quality bacon. There are no preservatives or any other type of nastiness added. Just pure bacon of the highest quality.
I will never buy bacon from any other source.

The order arrived very promptly

The order arrived very promptly, although the packaging had been damaged. I did not realise that the meat would come frozen. The amount of frozen wrapping had hardly started to thaw, so I think sending out fresh meat would not be a problem. I had intended to cut one of the joints in two, but I will have to think of a way round this. I look forward to tasting the meat.

Superb selection & amazing flavour

First order from this company and was surprised at the variety of game on offer.
Only had one of my purchases so far and it was absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to try the others.
Delivery was super quick and everything was well packaged and labelled.
