Definitely legit and has helped a few times when I've been tight for cash and really needed to get some bills paid. It's easy to use for most bills but some can be a bit more challenging.

What a joke! This app is not at all user friendly! They are charging me almost $39 for paying each bill, in addition to the monthly membership fee of $14.99!! It took a ridiculous amount of time to... Voir plus

My power bill was loud and disrespectful right before payday, but Deferit said “relax, I got you.” Easy to use, no shut-off stress, and payments that didn’t hurt my feelings. If adulting had a cheat code, this is it. 10/10 would defer again.

Overall, good company. What isn’t obvious is while they say most bills are paid in 2 hrs or less, that’s not including after business hours or on holidays. Normally, this wouldn’t be much of an issue but bills don’t stop for holidays. I incurred a late fee due to this and just had to take it on the chin because of fine print. Otherwise this has been very helpful during a tough time.

I live using the Deferit App due to being able to have my bills paid in full and I just have to pay Deferit back. It’s a user friendly app that allows you to update your bills easy. It also comes in handy when funds are low so you don’t have to pay the bill in full only your 1st out of 4 payments.

Deferit has truly been a lifesaver when it comes to managing my bills. I have been using Deferit for over a year now, and it has consistently provided much-needed flexibility during tight financial moments while helping reduce a lot of stress. While I didn’t receive a deposit back, having my bills paid on time and not constantly worrying about finances matters far more to me — so I won’t complain… but hey. Overall, the peace of mind Deferit offers makes it well worth it.

I love deferit ! When I was lost and confused on how I was going to pay 3,4 bills with one check that had other expenses coming out deferit was here to save the day ! I love how you don’t get charge extra if you to move a date and I also love the flexibility of what bills you can pay.I have been referring this to everyone I know ! Thanks deferit ❤️

Such an easy to use app and tool. With electric companies currently getting to charge what they want we were unexpectedly hit with a massive end of summer bill. Like a majority of the world currently you try to save as much as you can but paycheck to paycheck seems to be the way it is now. Deferit was a huge help to keep us up to date and pay in 4 over time. Can’t recommend enough if you fall behind. But don’t make this a regular use just use when you need and still keep up with your next bill.

This company took my money and never completed the payment on my account. I have been dealing with this for over three weeks. It caused a late payment on my account and I am still fighting to get my money back that they supposedly kept instead of paying my insurance company. It's horrible; stay away, as they are deceitful. Bill paid through them on December 3, and after telling me it was paid repeatedly, they finally admitted it had not been paid. I am still waiting to get my money back. It must be convenient for them to use my money to make a profit - Avoid!

I restarted my membership only to find out my limit was still the same after having used the service and paying on time before. I canceled the membership and requested a refund on the same day, since then, instead of honoring my request, knowing they take 3 days to respond, I've been delayed and questioned about ending the membership. I made the request 7 days ago and feel like my time has been wasted. The service itself works. 2 stars because the customer service is very lacking.
Edit: A different individual from customer service took over and made sure my refund was processed. They also apologized for the wait. I would give 4 stars but considering the frustration the initial service rep caused I am unable to give more than 3 stars. I'm very big on customer service plain and simple. Thank you for the reply and to the representative who made sure my refund was processed with minimal delay. With all that being said if you (potential customer) are in a pinch and need a bill covered Derefit is definitely reliable in such a way so long as you meet the terms.

Times have been challenging financially since being diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately the bills don’t stop even with me having to miss a lot of time from work. Deferit has been such a blessing to me during this time. I got approved and was able to split 1 of my bills. Such a relief when I felt I ran out of options. With on time payments, Deferit has given me increases on my limit that has helped me out even more. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you for all that you guys do and giving us all a breather when these bills overwhelm us!

Comes in so handy when you need it. Payments can take a business day to process through so expect to wait if you do it late on a Friday or the weekend. I would say font use the day the bill is due, use it before your bill date.

I needed to pay a bill, but didn’t have the funds to make the payment. This is my first time using Deferit.
After getting approved I submitted payment. Then after a few hours, I’m hit with the old “sorry we can’t process this”. So I use their AI chatbot Sam to try and get an explanation. Sam says it can only submit a ticket for customer service. So it does. But then I have to wait and wait for a reply. The reply states they “no longer support spectrum mobile” and they suggest the best idea would be to pay the bill myself, direct to spectrum. 😑 How astute. Indeed I should never have tried to use middle man Deferit, and just paid the bill myself directly to spectrum. The “Customer Hero” (I can’t believe the audacity to refer to your sloth-slow and reading comprehension-challenged staff as “heroes”), completely ignored or missed my request for a refund. So I had to request again. Another 2 days go by. Then the weekend. Oh, these heroes only work bankers hours apparently. Finally a reply. Do I want to refund and cancel, or refund and stop all charges but keep acct. I said just a refund and let me keep the account. That was Monday morning. It’s now Thursday night and I still haven’t received a refund or a reply or any indication that a customer matters. Maybe it’s more accurately “Customer Anti-Heroes”. To all considering using Deferit, I seriously hope you don’t do it because they aren’t worried about you. No phone number for customer support, no online-chats with staff, only e-mail that they don’t bother responding to. RUN!

I really like using Deferit because it just makes life easier. Sometimes bills hit at the wrong time, and being able to split them up without a bunch of fees or drama is a blessing. Everything is easy to upload, quick to approve, and I always know what I’m paying. It’s a solid service and has helped me a lot.
