Deliciously Ella Avis 

I have been eating all my snacks from this brand for years and I think it’s an amazing brand that I trust. I have an autoimmune condition so for me it’s very important that I find products that make me feel safe and don’t trigger my illness.

I placed an order on 06/06/2025. After more than 10 days it still hadn't been shipped. Their unuseful customer service replied that they were waiting for the items to arrive, items that I had paid for them when I ordered. Yesterday I asked for a full refund of the order after an email expressing all my disappointment. First and last order. Never again.

Bought Ella bars and found nuts shells (looked like pecan shells) which damaged my teeth. Also they use a lot of dodgy ingredients, claiming to be clean. Unimpressed. And will be pursuing damages to teeth.

Absolutely love this company. Outstanding customer service recently when I had a batch of chocolate almonds that I thought were unpalatably over-roasted (I get through PACKETS of these each month, and this was the first time I'd had an issue - all fine since). Quick response, and resolved the issue to 100% satisfaction.
I also love the app. Really cheap for all the incredible healthy recipes, exercise and yoga videos and meditation/background soothing music tracks.

I couldnt reset my password as I was not not receiving the email link to reset it . I emailed the company and received some automatic generated reply that said they would be in touch.
24 hours later no help at all all I want to do is reset my password.
Very poor customer support

Customer service is absolutely wonderful, Sam dealt with my problem straight away, couldn’t have been any lovelier. I can’t thank them enough. I can’t believe some of the reviews as I’ve just had nothing but A 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 service thank you

Placed quite a big order.
Still in “unfulfilled” status from over a week ago but obviously have taken the money despite saying usually get orders sent out within 2 working days.
Tried to get in contact, several times but nada. Absolute radio silence…

I use the website for recipes, mindfulness and the tracker etc, which is useful for keeping track of your goals. I'm a fully paid up member and have been for several months. During that time there's been numerous issues with the website and with the tracker. I'm totally fed up. And now they've sold the company I'm guessing it's unlikely to get better. I won't be renewing my membership...there's plenty of competitors out there and I will try one of them!

Beware the 50% off membership offer. I already have an account and I signed up Thursday (4 days ago) using the same email as my account, received an email order confirmation but the membership is not showing in my account. It’s a 7 day free trial first but I have no way to access the subscription and no way of stopping the payment being taken. I’ve been emailing customer services ever since I subscribed (3times) and have had no reply. Appalling customer service.

I signed up for a 7 day free trial of the app on the understanding that I could 'cancel any time' as stated. Having had a look around and decided it was not for me (I joined for the recipes but a lot are disappointingly high carb and high sugar, and none have nutritional information on them), I've discovered there is no way to cancel. I am now chasing customer services in the hope that they will cancel it before they automatically take a full years subscription. I have no idea if or when they will respond. Customers should not be at the mercy of email support to cancel a free trial or membership.

Updated to say support did cancel my membership as requested but you should be able to do it on the website.

I bought a couple of boxes of Apple & Raisin Oat Bars as I understood this brand to be a health conscious one, as is implied by the labelling on the packs.

I've enjoyed the taste of them, but have just looked in detail at the ingredients in my Ella oat bar. 44% oats but next ingredient is Rice Syrup which is basically sugar (mainly glucose). It’s made by breaking down the starch in cooked rice to make sugar!!! It has a glycemic index of 98 which is about as high as it can get. Table sugar is 65. 60% of the bar by weight is sugar….😱😱😱😱😱😱😱

I’d be better eating chocolate Easter Eggs. At least I know they are bad for me.

I’ll probably finish the packet as they are nice, but need to think again about what I can take as a healthy snack. it's not this...

The packaging says "We share simple tools to help you lead a healthier life." Not with this bar you don't....

RICE SYRUP IS SUGAR !!!
This brand used to stand for a healthy alternative now everything has rice syrup which is sugar basically under a guise of Rice syrup

Disgusting. Just had a Cacao & Almond Energy Ball from Waitros. Absolutely revolting, bland and stale. It had absolutely no taste to it. To their credit, it has very clean ingredients: just almonds, dates, almond butter and coconut oil. So I'm not sure why it tastes so utterly vile

Bought a pot of Plants Carrot and Butter Bean soup the other day. It lists 27 interesting ingredients but managed to taste of absolutely nothing...... Zero, zilch, nada.
It was even more tasteless than the young Prince Harry's choice of fancy dress costume but as I found out digging deeper, these products aren't made by Ella and her team toiling enthusiastically over an Aga in deepest Sussex......
but in a large factory unit in Milton Keynes....nuff said.

Purchased a product that contained empty wrappers.

Attempted contact their support and never recieved a response. For something that Carey’s a premium price for a supposedly premium product their customer care and customer support is non existent.

Does the founder care only about the profits and not the customers that pay their bills?

Who is taste testing this stuff?! Absolutely disgusting taste…You need a rethink guys…

Tried the Deliciously Ella Hazelnut & Maple Granola.. OMG it was the most revolting sorry excuse of a cereal I have ever tried. The Milk tasted toxic after whatever was coating the cereal absorbed into the milk, the cereal had a disgusting taste, chewing became hard and lastly I was left with a sore throat.
I've never complained about a cereal, but this was so bad it needed reviewing. The sooner this is removed from shelves the better,

Absolutely dreadful experience. Website and app don’t work, recipes can’t be accessed, videos buffer. Customer service non existent. I like Ella and have been following her for a number of years. This side of the business just feels like a cheap way to take money from loyal followers. I will be interested to see if the respond, as customer services haven’t!

I agreed to a free trial of the Deliciously Ella subscription, why do they make it so difficult to cancel? Regardless of whether one can track down their "terms & conditions" on their website, responsible companies should have nothing to hide and make it easy for customers to cancel their subscriptions. Having to send an email is not acceptable.
