I am experiencing the exact same rude customer service!!!!

I am experiencing the exact same horrible, rude, unprofessional customer service from this company as the others who have submitted reviews. Jessica Miller has responded with that same threat of her "legal team" because I have asked for a response instead of being ignored. Even though they did credit me my money back, their promise to deliver wasn't kept. Companies should not guarantee or promise a delivery, especially if items are gifted to others. The reason they gave for the delay was third party issues. Then they promised the item was going out early in the week, which never happened. That is when I asked for refund and received it. BUT, I felt and stated that it would be nice if they sent the item out anyway, free of charge. I couldn't be more saddened that this gift was never received for my daughter's 1st Mother's Day. I had ordered it with plenty of time for them to have gotten it right.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

Read through the reviews to see that there is a common thread here - I think this company is likely a scam so BUYER BEWARE

I too was victim to "Customer Support Manager" Jessica Miller.

I placed an order and after having NOT received it in over 30 days, contacted support requesting a status update. No response. Followed up 3 days later. No response. I let them know that I would be filing a dispute with my credit card company. No response. I sent another email saying "still no response. Ridiculous" and filed my dispute.

That is when the delightful Jessica Miller finally responded! Her response was:

You know what's ridiculous? The fact that we clearly sent you an email regarding the delays and gave you an estimate on when it would be sent.

What's really ridiculous is you completely ignoring that email then telling us that you're going to dispute the charge. Thanks for that, we are now getting our legal team involved because of this.

I would give a 0 if I could. I’m shocked that they have a manager like this. I will only post one of her replies because they were so rude.

Managers response as I have still not got my portrait.

We literally resent the delay email, you're being ridiculous. Did you even check your spam folder? how many times are we gonna have to send this to you? jesus.

The WORST Customer Support Manager…

The WORST Customer Support Manager EVER! I ordered mid March for a picture to be used in a wedding reception. I can understand a delay of if a contractor fail which I was notified they did. Sadly, disappointing and near unforgivable, the customer service manager has failed epically, and unapologetically after approving the preview at least four times and dispute a promise to get it in the mail two weeks ago, I STILL DO NOT HAVE the product to be given as a wedding gift and use for the reception and wedding held last weekend. The product this company offers is beautiful but the customer service manage only makes snide remarks projecting any responsibility toward herself toward me for feeling disappointed. The last communication I made was either get the product in mail or refund the money immediately. I held out a small ray of hope, the product would arrive before I left, but it didn’t. If anyone in authority over this heartless wretch sees this, I hope they will contact me. I’d love for him to see the email thread and how callus and unfeeling she is. There is NO SUPPORT and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I guess I’ll have to file fraud with my bank to get my money back.

SCAM ALERT!!!

Designed by Memories appears to have disappointed many within the last several months. I’m guessing someone new took over or they just stopped caring. I’ve placed many orders from them in the past and have always been pleased with the product and receipt of product time-frame. Not this time; order #7102124 was purchased February 18th and to date I’ve received no product and no tracking information despite numerous requests for tracking and shipping details.

Jessica Miller is the only person responding to emails it seems and claims to be the customer support team manager. If this information is true then I would also say, BUYER BEWARE - take your business elsewhere! Incredibly poor customer service and the team manager is rude as can be.

It’s unfortunate that this company has started 2024 out by stealing money from people and disappointing with no product deliveries. I’m pretty sure the business is going under and they’re just taking people’s money at this point. Spare yourself the headache and do business with a trusted company.

Lots of promises but no delivery.

I ordered a very special picture for a relative that passed away in March. I have been waiting almost two months to receive itm My first update from the company said there was a shipping delay. The second update said I would receive a tracking number within the week. never got it They are taking Mother's Day orders so I asked how they can promise mothers days orders on time of they still have finished March orders at the end of April. They never responded. When i asked for an update again they said they couldn't provide the tracking number. I will be contacting Pay Pal and asking for refund. So disappointed .

This company has seriously failed me

This company has seriously failed me. As anyone can see by reading the earlier (pre-2024) customer reviews, the services at "Design by Memories" has, as of January 2024, gone bad. BUYER BEWARE - This company appears to be in trouble, even as they continue to solicit orders by email and on social media. It is as if they are running some kind of scam. This is tragic because they actually did good work in late 2022 and early 2023, when I had used them several times to my satisfaction. NO MORE - They are dishonest. Take your photo or portrait to the local FEDEX print shop and get what you need there. Often the Adobe Photoshop Techs at FEDEX Custom Printing can manipulate & copy/print your digital image the way you like it, while you wait, and sized exactly onto your choice of paper all at a cost well below Design by Memories.

Move on quickly

Move on! the customer service and business practices are suspect at best. No communication or ownership of problems nor will they honor their associated Guarantee. I have never delt with a more ignorant company that refuses to communicate or provide basic level of customer service. They screwed up but expect you to pay the price. Go elsewhere.

Beware of this Company!

I was just informed by customer rep Jessica Miller that legal action is being taken against me for asking the status of my order from February. It started with me asking the status cuz if it will take too long, I’ll ask for a refund as it’s something I needed now. She rudely responded “We told you it was shipping this week, but since you're now threatening to file a chargeback, we're getting our legal team involved.” I kept asking for that email notification but never received, just more threats that their legal team will be involved. She finally gave me a refund and then stated their legal team is now activated against me. For what?! I thought I had done something wrong but clearly after reading all these reviews, that company has a problem employee on their hands, and then some. It’s very unfortunate as I ordered once before and loved it so was looking forward to this second one.

Do not purchase from this company

Do not purchase from this company. Very poor customer service from Jessica Miller. Very insulting. they say they will sue me for theft because they shipped my canvas print but never received. I turned the problem over to my credit card company, who is investigating this company. My order was placed the end of January and never received.

I emailed back and forth with Jessica Miller. She is the most rude, unhelpful person I have ever dealt with in customer service, anywhere! She literally used "lmao" before she continued on with more unprofessional comments.

IF YOU ALREADY PURCHASED FROM THEM YOU…

IF YOU ALREADY PURCHASED FROM THEM YOU ARE SCREWED! It appears to be a small mama pop organization that outsources to China or some other country. This past month they seem to have been hit with delays and canceled orders and are panicking. One of the customer service reps, Jessica Miller, threatens legal action and insults you when you try to find out where your product is.

They tout 5 to 7 days to ship And everyone who is leaving messages like me has waited over 30 days. I have attempted to cancel my order with no guarantee I will get a refund so I am working with my bank to do a chargeback.

By the looks of things this company will be out of business soon. However there are still people out there who are enamored with this type of artwork. Do your research! Avoid these clowns

It appears I’m having the same trouble…

It appears I’m having the same trouble with my order place mid February. And it appears the same, nasty attitude manager, Jessica Miller, has other complaints from other customers. I had used them before and had absolutely no problem and it was beautiful work. Thought I would order again for a friend whose furbaby crossed the rainbow bridge at the time of my order. Such a disappointment and tonight I canceled the order. Will never use again and will discourage my friends and family who I told them about this company to never ever use. What a difference in customer service and receiving your order in a timely manner in over year when I last ordered.

Inappropriate Customer Service Response

I placed two orders with Designed by Memories about a week apart. The first order I got a prompt response that it was being processed. The second order I received no response, although they did promptly charge my credit card. Then they told me my first order was being delayed. I kept my inquiries about the status of the orders separate from each other. I did not inquire about both of the orders on the same email. Eventually, without telling me, they cancelled the first order for some reason, and they reimbursed my credit card. I then inquired for the third time about the second order, and clearly Ms. Alexander got confused thinking I was inquiring about the first order. She then sent me this very "professional" email response:

I had to go to my credit card to get a credit for this order. Designed by Memories did nothing to address the problem with the second order. They also have never apologized for the above inappropriate email response to a simple question. I will not ever do business with this bunch again!!!

Very disappointing

Very disappointing; ordered my item 30 days out and still did not receive the item for Valentine’s Day!Terrible follow up service and cancelled my order. “They” claimed the order was lost at their vendor and did not offer any tip of option, outside of getting it back in order and sending immediately, never happened!👎🏼

Unfortunately I didn’t check the reviews prior to sending my order. Without all the details which are the same as others take my advice and don’t order from these people. Not a way to run a business. Placed my order 2 weeks before Valentine’s Day. Here we are March 1 2024.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!

Worst customer service ever. Sent a question about my order 4 weeks after I ordered it and took 5 days to get a response. Response was I’ll ping my team. Another week goes by, I sent another email and no response a week later. Still waiting…buyer beware! Terrible company!
