I like the jacket
I like the jacket. Had it turned on medium setting and got a good 5hrs battery life. Only thing I would like, is removable hood, instead of being permanently attached

BROKEN ZIPPER
Charged the battery all the way. Connected it to the jacket. Zipped the battery pocket and the zipper on the pocket broke. First time using the jacket.

Love the jacket! It’s very warm & comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Wish they had a teal/Turquoise option. The pockets are a little weird but I grew to love them over the first couple of weeks. The battery holds a charge for a whole day if it’s in low. One of the downsides to this jacket is the weight. The battery itself is VERY heavy. The hood is not removable but also lays in such a way that it isn’t bulky. The company definitely needs to have more patch options, not just the flag and an eagle! The patch feature makes this jacket unique and could be fun!

Really love my new heated vest!
Really love my heated vest! We are experiencing cold MN winter, and since I've received my vest, I've worn it every day. Originally bought to wear on spring and fall cold motorcycle rides. Will have to wait for spring to try that but expected it to be wonderful! Have passed this along to a number of friends who are interested. One observation, my battery has to be unplugged in the morning to be able to restart. Battery life does last longer if I unplug after use. Must be a power off drain. Not sure if this is normal or not.

About the battery needing to be unplugged/replugged in the morning:
That's actually a normal safety feature, not a defect. Our batteries have an automatic over‑discharge protection that kicks in after about 12 hours of inactivity. It prevents the battery from draining when not in use. A quick unplug and plug‑back‑in wakes it up. So you're doing exactly the right thing – and yes, it helps extend battery life!

New Battery.
After three years of use I needed to buy a new battery for my heated vest. It was very easy going to the DewBu website to find and order the battery I needed. It’s updated and easy to use. I like that it now has a display letting me know how much of a charge the battery has.
