A Culinary Find
We are so pleased to have met our local salesman.
This is the first time buying the products so we decided to sample a box of lobster tails and a box of steaks. Everything is packaged beautifully. We have tried the steaks and they are wonderful; surpassing anything from a supermarket. We look forward to our next visit so we can try some of the other items.

Your representative was very good, personable, not pushy however the box containing my fish looked as if it had been the demonstration box. I am hoping that the contents had not been defrosted several times over many weeks!!!

I completely understand your concern regarding the box appearance, and I want to reassure you that all of our products are kept frozen to strict standards and are never defrosted and refrozen. What you received will have been from our working stock, not a demonstration product, even if the outer packaging didn’t look its best.
That said, presentation does matter, and I’ll make sure this is fed back to the team so we can improve that side of things moving forward.

He's very friendly and the food he…
He's very friendly and the food he brings is amazing. His chicken Kievs are a real family hit and invaluable for when time is short between the family getting in from school and having to go out again for evening activities. The prawns are also amazing and great in stir frys, so health and tasty.

Andy 1542 is just fantastic, he is more than a salesman, he is a friend* We have been eating great fish thanks to him for more than 14 years… I have to say that, since he moved to Dining Solutions Direct the quality has been excellent! From the sea bass to prawns, chicken and our latest discovery, thanks to Andy’s advice, squid, which I just baked for 20/25 mins and the result was better than a restaurant. Food quality is always 100%
Delivered to the door which fits in with busy lifestyle is a plus.
Engaging staff, helpful and always open to feedback.
One thing to consider is the bulk buying, if you decided to be adventurous and it turns out not to be your thing can leave you with excess food. Tom, might be worth doing a "pick and mix" box to help with smoothing this issue. I want to try it all, the products are great but reluctant at times incase Iget caught short.

Good quality food
Nice friendly staff didn't push us into buying anything,we brought some chicken in garlic and herbs which was very tasty
It would be good if you had smaller portion packs as i don't have a huge freezer, or a taster pack of assorted meat or fish

Lovely salesmen, worked hard to get a sale from someone who doesn’t normally buy at the door. Quality of the food sells itself. Mixed boxes suitable for 2 people would win the extra star, I don’t have lots of freezer space

Our local rep Tom (Tom 728) is great.
Our local rep Tom (Tom 728) is great. Always responsive, comes when we need him which as we have very busy lives means that we have to be very specific about timings. He is always friendly and our Chef (Neil) absolutely loves the quality of the products.
Sometimes availability of specific products is patchy, we understand that this can be difficult but maybe on the website the company could note when products are not available, for example we have waited several months to get Chicken Supremes.
Tom however always tries to make sure we get what we need, we have a large freezer with a wide range of Dining Solutions Direct foods. One other small gripe, more catering for dairy allergies would be good. Fortunately, having our own Chef minimises this but there are some products we would live to try but cannot due to dairy content.

Fresh fish and meat and great door service
Fresh fish and meat. To your door! We have some steak mince and ready made parcels. Always exceptional taste and whilst not cheap it is worth it to eat good ingredients.
Tom728 is our newest chap and he's as friendly, professional and helpful as Peter our late wonderful chap. Was sorry to hear of his loss but Tom has been a Great replacement.

It is very convenient for me to have…
It is very convenient for me to have fish brought to my door. I eat far more fish than I would otherwise and I often serve it to my guests. Tom728 is delightful and gets me what I like -so for instance I like skin on salmon and he provides it. Of course I pay a premium for the service and the convenience, but it's worth it. And the fish is delicious, high quality and beautifully prepared.
